What would you do if you just received $5,000?

Fair enough, I’m certainly no scholar n behaviorism, animal or human. I’d guess that, since we all evolved from single-celled amoeba until we finally climbed out of the slime as alligators, and eventually became mammals, Cro-Magnon man had little intelligence, but was hungry, and simply imitated what he saw other animals do - eat eggs. I would guess that, after he discovered fire, scrambled eggs were soon to follow. Now, how Cro-Magnon man evolved from simply dropping a raw egg into his morning smoothie blender, all the way to gourmet sausages on a 6-burner outdoor kitchen grill? I may have a thesis topic here. .

Italian from Scime’s Fresh kielbasa from Hanzlian Bros (the grey stuff, not the smoked) . The whole concept of ‘sausage’ bewilders me. I mean, who first thought of the idea of killing an animal and stuffing its flesh in its own intestines, then hanging it in the sun to dry? Sounds like a Jeffrey Dahmer type to me. .

Popovich, Food and Wine ... and McDermott

I thought it was Dave & Buster’s, and they got to play games too. That Mularkey spared no expense when Ralph was picking up the bill! ? . -
You have to consider the source - particular the first quote - an ignorant troll who in one post call everyone either old or “gramps”, then a few posts later argues that he older than most and has more experience in corporate America than anyone on this board. His life is the epitome of James Thurber’s Walter Mitty. He has little, if any, knowledge of either football or business, but enjoys baiting others to respond to his nonsense - gives him something else to do with his hands all day when he not playing with himself. Just put him on your ‘Ignore’ list, and you won’t even see his nonsense. Trust me, your TSW experience will be more pleasant that way. .

What a ridiculous list - I would never list to probably 80-90% of the music on that list, nor most of the bands. A list of the 500 greatest rock ‘n roll hits, with no Janice Joplin, no Joe Cocker, no Little Richard, no Alvin Lee/ Ten Years After? No Humble Pie, no Devo? Greatest Lynyrd Skynard song IMO, is ‘Call Me The Breeze, greatest Zepplin might be ‘Been a Long Time Since I Rock and Rolled’, greatest Stones hit is something off of Sticky Fingers or Exiled on Main Street, Springsteen’s ‘Rosalita’ probably belongs on the list... I could go on and on. JMO .

Hmm! Usually, for that to happen, people have to at least meet me. .

IIRC, we had already lost SB XXV to NYG, and that presser was about a separate incident early the following season - something about Bruce’s alleged substance abuse. And that’s how Marv was - maybe we could have a separate thread entirely of Marv losing his cool and cussing out the refs. Anyway, the post doesn’t offend me, because Marv was defending a player, and I’m pretty sure the guy Marv was tearing a new one was Jerry Sullivan. JMO (I didn’t see that Talley post - guess it was deleted, but I’ll suppose that one was about the bar fight Talley got into in LA just before SB XXVII.) .

Actually, I met Andre, his wife, and, at that time, his very young son, in May of 1998 while on vacation in Maui. I ‘interacted’ with him at various times over 4 straight days. He was extremely cordial, was very willing to talk, and had no problems autographing my Bills jersey, “To ‘The Senator’ Best Wishes, Andre Reed# 83” (I guess maybe he got a little annoyed when folks just would not stop coming up to him, taking a seat on his wife’s lounge chair, and talking his ear off - who wouldn’t?) .

Stadiums with the Most Expensive Food and Drink
The Senator replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m sure everything will be high priced - probably at least $200 for a decent bottle of wine, and I’m sure Harris Steak House will provide a nice surf and turf dinner for around $300-$400! This is a major project that has been debated and delayed for at least 5 years. There’ll be lots of retail and office space, but yes - Google, Apple, et al have produced enough billionaires to afford those prices. . Darned right -and their own ER. All that wine, steak, Lobster Thermador and Dungeness Crab will kill ya! . -

I saw a piece on 60 Minutes yesterday - the Warriors are moving the brand new Chase Center in SF next season...the whole thing was built by the 2 billionaire owners w/out a dime of public money. Guess how much for a private suite? $2million per season! Comes with a private butler. https://www.chasecenter.com/suites . -
