  1. C'mon man, he made multiple fantastic throws under duress and on the move. The kind of throws that only a handful of guys in the world can ever make. If you plugged an average NFL QB into that offense with no weapons worth a damn going against a confusing defense that was winning up front, teh Chiefs likely get blown out of the building. Mahomes numbers were never going to look great, but he kept that team in that game yesterday in a way that 90% of other QB's couldn't.
  2. I love Shakir both as a player and a person, but I'm not sure the Bills will be able to afford him. They are likely not going to break the bank for a slot receiver, nor should they, but it's also likely that somebody else will.
  3. I thought that was 100% on Knox for stopping his route instead of continuing across the safety's face. I think Allen had to adjust midthrow when Knox settled in the worst spot possible and ended up just having to unnaturally flick a jump ball because of it. It's part of the reason I rarely ever want the Bills to use Knox as a target on downs that are going to decide possession; he's not as bad as Gabe Davis, but he's still just too unreliable.

  6. It's become a bit of a running gag around here in regards to Diggs.
  7. Mike Tyson is hungry too.
  8. #1 - Somebody called them a poverty franchise and I think that's a great descriptor; they let too many "good" players walk because they don't want to pay them and all the sudden they're top-heavy and thin everywhere else. #2 - Joe Burrow is more mercurial than Stefon Diggs.
  9. And Smoot.
  10. I'll ***** with Collinsworth til the cows are in but I am not dicking with that wizard's karma.
  11. <double checks boxscore to confirm that Mahomes had zero yards rushing today>
  12. Shame on you for thinking I'd ever want to be stuck on a boat with Joe f'ing Burrow. He probably takes pictures of martinis and then pays somebody else to drink them.
  13. I thought he'd end up running facefirst into an End and two 'backers if he tried it. Then he shot himself out of a cannon and made half the Chiefs secondary look like middle schoolers.
  14. He gave (I think) Taron a real ass chewing one TD also.
  15. I get more of a mai-tai vibe. Or maybe even a White Russian for breakfast.
  16. With all the talk we had all offseason of being short-handed at the skill positions, all the sudden this offense is freaking loaded. I'll go to my grave believing that Beane planned this knowing months ago he only needed one guy at the deadline to put everybody in the right positions.
  17. It's really weird. He's got no It factor and zero killer in him, but I can't dislike him for the lack. I think he'd be really fun to hang out with drinking beer and smoking joints on a sailboat, but I wouldn't really want him as my QB.
  18. Good catch. I thought the guy got a finger caught in his mask or something like that but that review shows a nice little hook to the jaw.
  19. I don't hear announcers during games and cannot figure out what was going on with him after that. I get they like Ty Johnson as a protector but I thought Cook's absence was startling in this game. They virtually ignored him in the second half and I wonder if there was discussion of an injury?
  20. with one arm tied behind his back, no less.... This offense is a serious problem for people when Coleman and Kincaid come back.
  21. That's a bingo, better than I could have said it.
  22. Unreal. I actually said something before the play about "you gotta get this one with your arm kid, not your feet; the entire D is spying you" That was a particularly fine humbling
  23. He plays downhill very well and is always going to be fine when the play is in front of him. If he's asked to drop (or even play laterally) and track a play at the same time is when he finds himself in trouble. There's a handful of teams where the issue seems to raise its head.
  24. Must be an entry level course
  25. Thinking of potentially two possession probably
