You've been had by a reefer madness knock-off: Berenson's portrayal of scientific and medical evidence has been widely panned as inaccurate and alarmist by scientists and medical experts, who have described his arguments as "based on a deeply inaccurate misreading of science" and an attempt to stir up public fear.[6]: 1 [7]: 1 [8] A group of 100 scholars and clinicians (including academics from Columbia University, Harvard Medical School, and New York University, and care providers including addiction medicine doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers) published an open letter criticizing Berenson's claim of a scientific link between cannabis use and violence.[3][6]: 1 [4] In particular, they describe his book as highly problematic because Berenson infers causation from correlation, cherry-picks data that fits his narrative, falls victim to selection bias via use of anecdotes to back up his assertions, and attributes the disproportionate rates of arrest of African-American youth[5]: 1 to the alleged violence caused by their cannabis use, despite individuals of all races using cannabis at approximately equal rates.[3]: 1 [12][6]

Enjoy the game, and as always, please keep the Bills commentary in any of the other Bills threads on the board so folks can readily discuss the game in this one. Thanks!

I don't disagree with any of this except for the bolded. And only that because I played organized ball well into my thirties, have had 4 back surgeries and still have pain every single day. And it was still worth it 👍

Diontae Johnson to the Ravens (now claimed by Houston)

That's how. -
Normally I'd be right there with you, but this cover is done by one of my favorite bands; a favorite in part because of their lead vocalist, Rachel Price. Here's a sampler pack, if you're interested:

I didn't realize that, thanks. It strikes me as a solution seeking a problem; a pointless rule that solves nothing and just creates more issues.

Having sore knees that makes stairs tricky is just a bit different from wanting to die because the headaches and confusion won't stop.

At no point are guys willingly going to forego the opportunity to drop the hammer on a QB, nor should they. With Allen in particular there is also the issue of standing straight up to tackle a 6'5 250lb guy with a full head of steam; you're just going to get steamrolled. Not quite as sad as retired players killing themselves because their brains are too scrambled to find the grocery store

I think they may have actually done that this year. I'm not 100% sure but it may now be a rule that if you dive headfirst in the field of play you're still afforded protection but are marked down at the place you began the slide/dive. I doubt if it would apply at the goaline though.
-
Anybody who calls this a fake slide has never carried a football or is looking to create controversy and attention. The only actual fake slide I've ever seen was Kenny Pickett a couple times in college; I've never once seen it in the NFL. As for the Mahomes and the OB stuff, if you give up on a play where a guy with the ball is still in bounds, that's on you, not him. You can still land on him; you just can't drive him into the turf anymore.

Just caught a blantant cheap shot at our QB from last week
Simon replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
This likely explains Allen's "hand injury". I couldn't figure out on that play where in the heck he hurt his hand and the funny bone comment was clear nonsense from Josh. But the Warner shot that snapped his head probably just resulted in a burner. They're annoying for a while but there are no long term issues. 👍 -

It's probably even worse than being a moderator for a bunch of drunk Polacks..... -
It's entirely up to the player if they want to make the move to another teams roster. Nobody is swiping Micah without his permission.

I don't remember who they were playing but there was a game in the latter part of last season where Rapp suddenly started playing with his head up and eyes open; it was a huge instantaneous improvement that felt like it came out of nowhere but kind of showed what he could become. It made me feel like Hyde had been coaching him to keep his head up all year and for some reason it finally became a habit for him and he's been very good ever since.

I'm just being a wise-ass. That one is probably not going to land, is it? -

They've probably been trying to trade him for 3 days and nobody wants anything to do with him. -

It just means that they practice at the indoor facility next to the pool so nobody is allowed to run.

Antonio Brown says a little girl thrown down stairs at Bills??
Simon replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills have undoubtedly been poring over security cam footage for 3 days now. If there was anything problematic, I have to believe that they would have worked with the law to ID and charge this guy, even if with just a Disorderly. If there was nothing to see they are not going to come out and call this family liars; they will just work behind the scenes to keep the blowback to a minimum. For right now, I still have to guess this is a giant nothingburger that everybody involved wants to go away, but the media is like a puppy on a pork chop. -
