    I don't know any of these answers but I would guess that the league itself would be fairly accommodating in allowing the Bills to maneuver themselves into position to release him just so that he is not on anybody's roster next year.

    Depending on the outcome, that might be the end of his plan to become an NFL GM down the road. But we should wait on that outcome.

    In the first couple hours it was posted it had already generated about 10 pages of quality conversation from multiple thoughtful posters. By the time I saw it, it wasn't something I wanted to bury when that many people were engaged.

    I kind of thought that as soon as they blew the switch that the leverage became irrelevant because there wasn't any. Gabe ran to to grass but I doubt he need to take it out to the corner; just keep rollling upfield and you're home free. The biggest mistake was probably not getting his head around immediately, imo.

    I'm not debating whether or not a curse exists; the inexplicable number of bizarre incidents this team (and to a lesser extent, the Sabres) has dealt with over the decades is undeniable. My question is when exactly did this all start?

    I actually agree with this but have to mention that Kelce took back to back false starts to push them back 10yrds or else it would have been a very makeable 49 yrdr instead.

    imo, there was exactly a 0% chance he was keeping Hurts out of the endzone from that position. His choices were: 1) Take out Hurts' knees in frustration just after he had already crossed the goalline 2) Get close enough to take a hopeless punch at the ball Considering what an awful day he was having, I'm glad Rasul didn't resort to #1.

    I was actually just thinking last night that it seems like the only way the Bills can win is via blowout or by taking the lead on the last play of the game.

    The inner life of a Bills fan: I figured there was about a 5-10% chance of anybody hitting that kick in those conditions. I had no doubt in my mind that he was going to make it.

    It's probably fair to add Von Miller to that list. That makes three legit NFL playmakers and possibly the baddest mf on this roster in Jones. We have those 4 guys healthy and we're playing for the #1 seed right now.

    I thought he had more issues in the ground game than he usually does and am guessing he doesn't grade out all that well.

    I don't think their primary goal was always necessarily pressure. Disciplined rush lanes, keeping Hurts in the pocket and making him play QB was the game plan and it worked until they started to lose that discipline up front, imo.

    I think he's been the most reliable, consistent player on this offense and if you put better receivers in the room with him this discussion is never even considered.
