  1. That was my mistake. But how do you predict the future and decide which player discussion will garner enough interest to deserve their own thread? Did Treylon Burks deserve his own thread? Did Shaun Dolac deserve his own thread? Did Justin Fields deserve his own thread? Did Bayron Matos deserve his own thread? How about Will Levis or Noah Fant? When the thread was merged it was simply the release of an out-of-division, injured DT, with no indication that any freakery was actually involved. We do our best, but nobody bats 1.000 when it comes to deciding what's going to happen over the next three days...
  2. Negative numbers are in play (sorry Sooner, but you earned this one ).
  3. It's like having our very own Jim Kirk. "Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not an obstetr...... oh, shlt..."
  4. I think you're really reaching here. Just because he's smart doesn't mean he isn't a sociopath. He's probably never been in trouble because he's mostly too smart to get caught. And if he was loved by his teammates, he wouldn't have just been reported and released. I think this dude has skeevy creeper written all over him.
  5. ***** one Martian and then for the rest of your life it's all "That guy's a Martian*****er"
  6. Aside from a couple games of the Stanley Cup Finals, I don't think I've turned on a TV since we got knocked out by the Chiefs in January.
  7. I don't believe for a second that this encompasses the entirety of the story.
  8. I was going to go but Uber fairs are out of control
  9. I thought it was an interesting observation and presented with both tact and wisdom by one of the oldest and classiest members of the community.
  10. Probably not this year; he needs to put some more mass on that big frame and master the offense. But I'm getting the sense that McDermott is finally getting a bit tired of Anderson's dumbassery. He actually threw him out of practice the other day.
  11. A cheap electric is fine as long as I keep up with it. If I let it go more than a few days, I have to break out an even cheaper Bic. Wait, we are talking about faces, right?
  12. The problem is that he's also dumber than a chicken. The sooner Jackson Hawes takes his job, the better off we'll be, imo.
  13. I'm not the one who's depressed
  14. Dude. It's practice. And not only is it practice... It's a rookie's first week of practice, trying to defend the world's best QB while he's wearing red.
  15. I haven't read it in 30 years but I thought it was great when I did and I get the sense it's the kind of thing that will hold up over time. He's a really good writer and it's chock full of simple, sensible wisdom. It was a massive seller back in the day that probably gets reprinted frequently so I'm guessing you could find a used copy of it for under $5. I would say that yes, it is definitely worth checking out. If it turns out to be not your thing, you can always pass it along as a thoughtful gift.
  16. Yeah, I just figured they were extending a courtesy to a guy they respected and who could help Hairston reach his potential. Apparently Mr White doesn't see it that way and has reached a point where he's all done dicking around. As good as this could be for Tre, it could also be really good for Hairston as well.
  17. I get that. But this particular case has so many extenuating circumstances, I doubt the Bills even consider the possibility.
  18. This might be the most interesting thing I've seen from camp so far.
  19. I'm going to be staying in West Glacier in a couple weeks; where can I find that sonofabitch?!
  20. I'd hate it, but that could end up being the outcome. I think he genuinely likes the combat and if he can develop good pro instincts he could become sort of a rich man's Mack Hollins. He'd be a real handful for DB's when things get off-schedule, Allen leaves the pocket and stripes sort of start letting guys get after each other downfield.
  21. Could be the theory of relativity at work here. (It's an Einstein joke, get it?-) Allen is so self-contained in regards to correcting teammates that simply tapping Moore on the hat and then using his hands to show him the right read could be considered an outburst.
  22. The idea of spending that kind of money on a property where you're hemmed in by neighbors on 4 sides is utterly incomprehensible to me.
  23. Yeah, I was thinking that Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins might have some significant input about Wilkins that the Bills would be well-advised to take into consideration.
