  1. He made some mistakes early but it's game 1 against an opponent that is a nightmare to defend properly so it wasn't unexpected. Overall I thought he looked very effective, probably the best we've seen across from Rousseau yet. The only time I got mad at him was when he inadvertently cut Groot's legs on what was probably about to be an absolutely crucial sack.
  2. He probably only had 10-15 snaps, but he again got caught crashing hard down the line right at the snap while Jackson waltzed through the massive hole he'd just vacated.
  3. Just a note: He led all the WRs in snaps by a significant margin. He is going to be a rich man's Mack Hollins.
  4. He had a tough time navigating traffic at times; really hesitant to attack routes early in the play. I thought the entire defense was like that though, spending waaaaay too much time diagnosing Baltimores wide variety of mesh points instead of making a decisive read and getting after it... except Epenasa of course, lol I'd probably hold Babich more responsible for that hesitancy than I do most of the players.
  5. This is 100% not true. I believe Strong played the entire game.
  6. I thought Sanders was active and showed a little more mobility than I expected from him. I think Walker played a little less and looked quite a bit like the rookie he was. I doubt if either guy played more than a quarter of the game (maybe Sanders a bit more than Walker?) as Ed and Daquan were out there for most of it, so I wouldn't take too much from limited snaps in their first ever NFL start and against that particular team.
  7. John Harbaugh is one of the very best in the business at using the entire preseason to have his guys specifically ready for the Week 1 matchup. I thought they clearly did a better job than the Bills staff in this aspect and it showed in how frequently confused and hesitant teh Bills were on both sides of the ball throughout most of the game. I don't think snaps were a legitimate factor in the Ravens being better prepared.
  8. I think that role just increased its IQ by 100
  9. Good choice. That was one of the most physical ballgames I've ever been to. You could hear pads cracking all night even from the upper deck.
  10. I think he broke a finger on that 3rd down play where he slung Shakir down earlier; his hand might have accidentally been caught in his helmet or shoulder pad. Not sure if you saw him go to the locker room from where you were sitting; he eventually came out with his pinky and ring finger buddy-taped together but I can't remember now which hand it was on. Kinda figured that was what must have happened. They were also running some no-huddle right out of the gate and they were clearly well-prepared for this game; much better than the Bills, imo.
  11. I am 100% convinced Hamilton got some of that ball. And if it was with the hand with the broken finger that they buddy-taped earlier, I cannot help but wonder if that mattered.
  12. And conversely he was fast and aggressive with them late in the first half when Baltimore had the ball and it ended up getting us 3 points we wouldn't have otherwise.
  13. I don't consume enough media to know whether this is true, but from the outside this kinda looks like more crazed Rory McIlroy level obsession.
  14. Your post history is littered with disrespectful Masshole ignorance and your drunken phone jabbering is a stain on this forum. I'm not wasting another second or another inch of board space on you; step back or step out. End of discussion. My view of him is that he continues to improve because he's seeing the field better, making better decisions and playing with much more control. Those kind of things aren't dependent on who's around him, imo.
  15. If you can't do it without being an ass, then don't do it at all.
  16. All three LB and both safeties were hesitant and gawdawful because of it most of the night.
  17. Ragging on folks here isn't "football" talk; it's a spoiled child with a phone who doesn't know his place. If you're not capable of meeting the standard that the majority of this community upholds, you can get steppin.
  18. You stroll in here acting like a smarmy jackass mocking and laughing at my peeps, you'll see some handling.
  19. He's a pissy Pats fan trolling after they lost at home to Geno Smith today
  20. Yeah, dropped his first target of the year. (so did DK Metcalf earlier today for P'burgh) It might have actually lost yards if he'd caught it.
  21. Hamilton actually got a couple fingers on that ball. I'm not sure if they were the ones that were buddy-taped.
  22. I'm assuming you're here because every message board in Massachusetts is an unreadable sludge of jumbled drunken consonants?
  23. Yeah it was like a small kitchen fire that ended up in the living room drapes
  24. He needs to be in Babich's ear, imo. He was OK early and OK late, but his defense was confused and hesitant most of the night because of its coordinator.
