  1. I agree with that and have been banging that drum for decades. But there's a certain kind of player with the right combination of smarts, guts, leadership and savvy that tends to be a natural when he puts a headset on and I think Glenn has that rare skillset. And I'm not talking about him being a co-ordinator, I mean as a head coach. A role where he has to be smart enough to find the right kind of people to surround himself with, then be the kind of leader that can get everybody to buy in 100% and be pulling in the same direction. He just feels like a natural to me.
  2. Just some slight editing ; - )
  3. I know it's fun to bust on the Jest, but I'm spooked by this guy. I had a ton of respect for his guts and guile as a player and I think he's the kind of cat that become a very good head coach, possibly good enough to turn that mess around. He also swiped an offensive coach from the Lions that could end up being successful in this league if they find him a good QB. Bookmark this and laugh me out of here if it doesn't work out down the road, but I think he's going to become a problem over the next couple years.
  4. Give us a few minutes to figure out who to toss out of the boat.....
  5. They also lost their passing game co-ordinator, who Aaron Glenn took with him to NY
  6. They may have tweaked the review rule to prevent exactly that? Or it may have something to do with the next play being a spike? Or maybe they added some proviso regarding the last 2:00 of a game?
  7. I wonder if they added a proviso in the offseason about the play before a spike? Or something to try to prevent teams rushing to the line to get a play off before the booth can get a look?
  8. That would be ripe for a screenshot shared on Chiefs Planet or whatever that hole is called.
  9. He looked like a pro from the second he stepped onto the field in his Sophmore season
  10. He didn't have 20, but he had enough to burrow in past teh sticks. It's why he's Justin Fields.
  11. Will the real Justin Fields, please stand up....
  12. Atrocious call on 3rd down by the Jets when the Stillers had been pouring guys up the Agaps all series
  13. I think he's been using Queen on some downs for it but he doesn't really have the wheels to pull it off, imo.
  14. He turns 42 midseason and is playing behind a shaky OL. He'll look good until he misses a free rusher and ends up with a separated shoulder or some such, imo.
  15. I agree with this but that Stiller OLine won't be able to protect him forever.
  16. Rodgers will break eventually. He's still got a live arm for now, though.
  17. Actually it was from the Pburgh 30 after they had just run the ball down the Stillers throat for 5 minutes
  18. Justin Bannan?
  19. Well, it's not Von Miller or Ted Washington...
  20. Nothing you've said here is wrong. But there are games you get jacked for more than others. And I think this is one of them for both crews.
  21. All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. - Richard Adams, Watership Down
  22. My initial thought will likely be "Holy *****, I am way too drunk to drive; I wonder if it's too cold to sleep in the truck...."
  23. Their LG was stinking it up out there as well, and not because they hadn't gelled yet. The Charger DT's were just beating him ugly.
