    I agree and will say two things about that punt. 1) As much as we hated it, I have no doubt McDermott hated doing it even more 2) It was the right call

    He's OK. I wish he had a better offensive background so he could do more to ride herd on Daboll. But considering that he's pretty much the opposite of McCarthy, who has a big mouth and a tiny set, the comparison is incredibly stupid.

    Diggs initiated contact with his right arm at the beginning of the route and both guys remained actively engaged in a positioning battle for the remainder of the play.

    I thought the one on Diggs in OT was a penalty live, but I never saw a good replay to know for sure.

    Diggs initiated every bit as much of that contact as the DB; two guys fighting for position on a game-deciding play. No call.

    This is not a fact, it is an opinion. And I'm guessing the film would show it to be a very inaccurate one.

    This is a giant load. A) No QB does it by themselves, much less consistently B) The kid is 25 years old with arguably the worst OLine in the entire NFL and is still producing like a Top 5 QB. Is there another QB in the world that can pull that off right now?

    Dude, if you're going to post here you really need to cowboy up and start typing "McDaniel". Reading the phrase "moron josh" makes me want to punch you in the face and I'm the nicest person here.

    He will say that because that's the kind of kid he is. But the 25 year old doesn't get a vote. He's OK when McD keeps him tightly leashed but that's not something the HC and defensive architect needs to be worrying about. I often wonder how much more dangerous Allen might be with a couple years under a traditional veteran, more detail-oriented coordinator.

    I agree with everything you say except your generous assumption that he would like a do-over. I think the exchange went exactly how he wanted it to, he was proud of making himself part of the story and would do it again in a heartbeat. As long as he was at a safe distance behind a microphone.
