  1. He was extremely tentative. His snaps were also very limited; he probably only took 1/3 of them during the game. They were also frequently pulling him on passing downs. I thought both him and Jordan Phillips looked like they were playing on one leg and basically just holding the POA and not really getting after it.
  2. Yeah, if they're going to play that game then they can deal with what happens when he has an extra second to let routes develop. Y'all have fun covering 30,000 sq ft of field for 4 1/2 seconds.
  3. It may have even been 5. And they all came in about a single 6 minute stretch!
  4. Defenses are making a concerted effort to keep him from getting outside the pocket to his right, where he's absolutely deadly. During games, watch how LDE's are playing a contain game and not getting too far upfield. Allen has handled their adjustment like a pro.
  5. Got tired of somebody starting a new thread every time some gossip started tittering on Twitter. Anybody that wants to discuss some drama queen who not only isn't a Bill, but who doesn't even play football, can keep it all in this thread.
  6. Drop all that he said/sheshed right here
  7. Baffling is exactly the right word for how anybody can lose track of him in the red zone repeatedly. Putting a freaking bell on him for gawd's sake....
  8. I've watched him for 4-5 years now and he's just too stiff to run man against top notch players like Kelce.
  9. He's got a knack for finding holes in zones; one of the best you'll ever see.
  10. They'll have to find a way to be creative with Tre White not available. Step one is to make sure the LB's stay disciplined and aren't chasing RPOs. Step two is to be as physical as you can with him, especially on early downs when penalties are less painful. Step three is to create problems at the source by getting Mahomes off his spot and confusing the angles on his throwing lanes. I could see them working a bracket with Taron Johnson but the secondary is already compromised so it's going to be tricky. I do not. I like Dodson coming forward, and he might eventually pick up the nuances to be an effective zone 'backer but asking him to chase Kelce would be utterly futile and also endanger the integrity of hte defense in a couple other ways.
  11. He eats up a lot of space but Edmunds is NOT reliable in man coverage; he's actually pretty gawdawful.
  12. I'm all for letting the players decide it, but that last one was so egregious I don't know how you can seriously pretend you didn't see it.
  13. The Raiders OLine was also ripping jerseys.
  14. He shoved a young worker going into the tunnel and knocked him on his ass pretty hard when the kid was just walking by.
  15. Maybe with 3 timeouts and 3-4 minutes to work the field, they get a better result. 🤷‍♂️
  16. Yeah, they should have done it a minute and a half ago

  18. Keep trying!
  19. You forgot Hodgins first catch and Epenesa's first ejection.
  20. It was right on the edge but I thought there were two subtle reason the flags didn't come out. 1) it was right at the sticks. You tend to get more leeway at the goalline and the first down marker, as it should be. 2) Pickett has some history of fake slides and you can bet stripes knows it Whatever the case, it was good to see an example of that auto call being de-emphasized just to get a better idea of where the line is drawn now.
  21. There was some real cherry poppin going on out there today. Hodgins first catch Shakir's first TD Elam's first INT Cook's first TD Epenesa's first ejection
  22. It's possible, but I would be hesitant to put the defense in a position where they're on the field more than necessary because the offense isn't using up any clock. One reason it might be worth running is that they're not getting a lot of opportunities to run their 2:00 offense. Going no huddle could artificially create some of those opportunities to go hurry-up and practice it for situations where it might be beneficial in the future.
