  2. Is this where we stick the facepalm meme?
  3. Warm moist air coming form the South with a S/SE wind setting up for morning.
  4. It's a valid question, one I have been considering myself. Several individuals really have upped their games over the last month, imo (Oliver, Bernard, DJones, Von). Despite that, teh D as a whole has not been better. I think there are probably a few reasons combining to cause that. One is the level of competition and the Bills familiarity with it; having the Rams and Lions offenses back to back, both of which are good and neither of which the Bills see often created a couple high scoring games that really triggered this narrative. Losing 60% of the starting secondary and 50% of the starting LB corps and then seeing some of the backups backups also go out has created both continuity and talent issues on the field. As for Bernard, I though he popped off the screen just last weekend. He was all over the place out there, playing like one of the league's best LB's.
  5. If y'all want to debate the relative merits of Allen's vs Jackson's season, have at it. But folks who continue to drag this pointless racial crap in here in an attempt to turn this place into the places you say you hate, well, those folks will be leaving.
  6. A few weeks ago I saw him actually run over Dorian Williams (who was shockingly in the wrong gap) to get to a ballcarrier. I think Terrel is just fine, although he did seem to be missing part of that chip on his shoulder for quite a while. He's been much better over the last month or so, imo.
  7. I'd rather be in a -33 windchill with heavy snow than a light 33 degree rain.
  8. I admit to being one of those guys. I gave him a ration of shlt his first two years for only being able to use half the field; than I gave him a couple years of he's just another one read QB. Then last year I shut my piehole when it looked like the game was really starting to slow down for him. Then this year he took an even bigger leap imo, and is now playing the best ball of his life. On a side note while we have you trapped here. What's up with Roquan Smith's hamstring? That muscle is a lingering pain in the arse and you guys are a completely different D when he's hurt. Is he OK going forward?
  9. Ed DaQuan Groot Epenesa
  10. The Steelers gave up 160+yrds at 6.8 ypc against Henry less than a week ago
  11. So Troy Franklin, MVS and Diontae Johnson are among the very best separators in the NFL while Tank Dell and Tyreek Hill are below average? C'mon man, why do you folks keep using absurd charts like this to support narratives?
  12. This should be exactly how they're looking at it and I think they will. The players having some genuine hate for the Jets isn't going to hurt matters either.
  13. It's arguably the most entertaining team in the NFL. 👍
  14. The only thing this pic needs is a dipspit tourist in a Jets jacket about to get flattened because he was trying to take a selfie with an annoyed bison.
  15. The "e" is close enough to the "a" that I'm picking that flag up. Overofficious jerks on Christmas Eve!
  16. I got the exact same feeling on that one but they never showed a replay from a good angle to confirm it. The shot from teh endzone pylon would have shown us I think, but they never queued it up.
  17. I agree with this, but in my mind home games are also less important than maintaining a fine edge in regards to timing and execution. Calling off the dogs like they did last weekend is not something they can keep doing and still expect to be at their best three weeks from now. The old adage "If you're not getting better, you're getting worse" became an old adage for a reason. It's one of the trickier balancing acts in sports, imo.
  18. Agreed. I hope they really bring it on Sunday. At this point they are playing for a Super Bowl, so damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead.
  19. This is a grave disservice to the actual owner of the title and I insist that you make amends by immediately imbibing in whatever substance you think appropriate for your sin.
  20. I agree with this 1000%. It's liked their being trained to mercilessly hunt down infractions and encouraged to throw flags any time they think they might have seen something. The "indicators" they use are complete nonsense; not only is it an invitation to throw pointless flags because there might have been a penalty they didn't actually see, but guys know what they are and how to mimic them and manipulate officials into affecting games they have no business being a part of. It has honestly reached the point for me that there are times I just turn games off and don't even bother watching them any more because it is nothing more than kabuki theater being manufactured by a league that thinks fake drama is a substitute for the real thing. Hey NFL, you want drama? Get out of the way and let the greatest game in the world just be what made it so popular in the first place. Ad execs and bean counters have turned great entertainment into the faux show they know best.
  21. If you're referring to me, you are being dishonest. I never once wanted to trade him and stated I clearly liked him and wanted him on the roster. I just wasn't confident he'd ever develop the footwork to play OT and I wanted to see what kind of a monster he would look like at RG.
