The guy is a singular talent that could probably play any LB position. But aside from the suspension and multiple arrests, if you watch some film on him you'll notice that he takes a lot of plays off. If he fell to the second I'd be awfully tempted by that talent, but I don't think there's any way the Bills use their first draft pick on a LB who does that much floating.

Nobody should be surprised by this. The guys who liked him enough to sign him in the first place are still here and they still like him. He'll be given the same opportunity to compete as the other QB's on the roster will be.

I don't think that compares at all because those problems were purely cultural, were created by society and could be addressed by simply being enlightened. In this case we're dealing with a problem that is purely physical and can't necessarily be addressed by something as basic as forward thinking. I'm all for concept of all people having equal opportunities in this world, but there are times when idealism runs up against realism and this could be one of them.

Yes you will; at least publicly. The guy clearly stated he did not want the man's name used. Those of you who want to play supersleuth, do it on your own dime and keep your guesses out of this thread. This is hard to admit nowadays but when that team first started coming into its own, I found them impossible not to root for. They played with such intensity and intelligence and did it the way it was supposed to be done. Now that they've added myriad asshats like Spikes, Welker Wilfork, Merriweather, etc etc etc, I love watching them cry all the way home, but back then I really respected those guys. I always got the sense that in addition to his great understanding of the game, that he always treated his guys with the respect they deserved. I have little doubt that if given the opportunity to run for him, I'd go through a lot of walls for the guy. So what's high in both ?

I'm not sure I understand where you're going with this; are you comparing me with the judge? I get mf'd all the time and I don't believe I've ever suspended for anybody for anything they've ever said to me personally. The few people who get time-outs do so because they won't stop doing something against board rules after being asked repeatedly to stop it. I couldn't care less if they run around saying f-u to me all day; and there is more than 1 signature than can attest to that.

You're not alone on this one. Seriously? Asking her a question she doesn't know the answer to and then acting like a jackass when she can't answer it is "restraint"? Why don't you go ask 100 teenage girls the value of their jewelry and see if you can find a single one that knows the answer. As for her adios, spare me. And then tried to double her bail (which a more sensible judge reversed) when she responded in kind. She may well be a snotty brat, but that guy was a complete dick.

I don't have any comment on his loyalty but I just have to give the guy a fond farewell and huge props for being one of the most fearless and focused wide receivers I've ever seen at any level. He was THE definition of an old school player and when guys like him hang it up, the game is the lesser for it.

15 for another few months; 5'10 160ish and can move, daughter of a big Irish athlete who was part of state champ v-ball team this year.
