He's been so good the first couple weeks that it's like the Bills have signed another new FA in addition to Von Miller.

It's looked to me like he'd actually been drawing quite a few doubles already in the first couple games so things might not change much for him. I wonder if opposing coaches who are actually watching film are seeing him playing even better than we've been.

I agree that players shouldn't be playing ref; Josh had a bad habit of calling Offside penalties and it got him in trouble a couple times. Although I will say that a DL can be penalized without entering the neutral zone if he's considered to be "simulating the start of a snap" or simulating a snap count.

It was definitely close, which was why he was able to get back so quick. I just have to trust the line judge's perspective over what we can see on TV.

I'm this close to thinking that we have a DT rotation that could be the best in the history of the NFL. Aside from Allen having to field a few wild pitches, he wasn't terrible.

Grits blitzes. 8 man rushes the entire 1st qrtr and hit Allen on every single down. If he's still standing in the 2nd qrtr keep running it but dropping the occasional zone dawg in there to see if you can steal a turnover. Complement this with heavy packages on offense to run both the ball and the clock and with just enough PA sprinkled in to keep the 'backers honest. If Allen finishes the game, you probably lose, but at least you have a punchers chance to break him. Oh, and sacrifice goats in the locker room both pregame and at halftime.
