  1. Ed, Harry and Groot are an issue when they're on the field at the same time
  2. Winning is a great deodorant. - John Madden
  3. They bounced us out of the AFC Championship last year. That's bigger than a regular season game, imo.
  4. Replace the Colts with the Chiefs and the revenge would be complete
  5. No argument with any of that; it's a terrible situation for a trade for the Bills. But if the Giants were stupid enough to let him go for a mid-round pick, I'd be really tempted to roll the dice. We're looking to win a Super Bowl and if we have to lose a 3rd/4th rnd pick on a 1year rental that could potentially put us over the top, I'm taking a serious look at it. If he does have a great year and we lose him in FA, maybe a compensatory pick replaces the pick we dealt for him.
  6. I have little interest in the Bills trading for a RB when the real issue is the OLine, but this take isn't really fair to Barkley. He had ~ 1500 yrds from scrimmage in his second season with no QB behind a horrific OLine when he was the only threat on the field and every opposing coach and player was keying on him every snap. That's a pretty galdanged impressive outing to call it a "decline". He tore an ACL at the beginning of the next year, which he was just recovering from barely 1 year later when he stepped on a linemen's foot and hurt an ankle he's been playing through all season. Barkley's a stand up kid, a ferocious worker and a high quality human being. If he ends up getting out of that gawdawful mess in New Jersey and finds himself on even an average offense next season, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him win some sort of Comeback Player of the Year award.
  7. It hasn't been a lot, but Oliver has played some snaps at End this year.
  8. He absolutely cannot play Tackle in this league, but I think he's probably a viable option on the inside
  9. Brady is playing for the yard, while Josh is looking for the endzone.
  10. Be on time, pay attention and play like hell when I tell you to. That has always stuck with me. I'd have run through a wall for that guy.
  11. That is one thing with which I agree that you are 100% correct.
  12. It does if you add a little cinnamon and cocoa!
  13. I won't argue with any of this, but he seems to be pretty close to on track with what I'm seeing. In the game balls thread my two mentions were Groot and Harry Phillips and that is who he had #1 and #2. Although maybe the S.O.B is just copying me.
  14. Soooo, where do you guys tailgate? Asking for friend..........
  15. Quit freaking me out!
  16. If you're dreading something that hasn't even happened, you may want to reconsider who the alarmist is
  17. Bless you, sir.
  18. Are you sure I'm kidding?
  19. It's like a pox party for ballplayers.
  20. If I'm the Bills GM, I have a great big old Covid party on Sunday night after the Pats game. Invitations to every infected person I know and bring the whole roster in to share a wide variety of dips and punches. Have a kissing booth, some small enclosed bouncy tents and a monoclonal station with free antibodies at the exit. Get everybody a fat dose right now so nobody has to worry about it when the playoffs start.
  21. 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.....
  22. Sanders is better at reading traffic and finding holes in zones. The Bills see primarily zone defenses so there is definitely a place for Sanders on the field.
  23. He's currently averaging about 1 pick every 3 games.
  24. Some people are just too weak to handle it when things get hot in the kitchen so they just start screaming like toddlers. Any sorry excuse for a man that is too pathetically weak to control himself is certainly too weak to control me. If a pissed off coach walks comes up to me on the sidelines, looks me in the eye and says "Simon, you can't do that because A, B and C; next time do X, Y and Z. Now get your mind right and be ready to roll." then he earns my respect and I go out and do what he says. If some nutless asshat starts screaming in my face and calling me an idiot, then I learn nothing, the problem isn't solved and I lose respect for him. You want to solve problems and be respected by grown men, then you show the same respect that you expect from them. A guy that can't do that is a bad coach and a weak man.
