    Whaley was really stoked when he was available there; felt like it was one of the best value picks of the entire draft. I sort of agree because every time I saw the guy at OSU, he was absolutely all over the place. If he keeps working at it, he's going to be a real player for the Bills for a long time.

    They can throw a nice variety of looks out there but I'd hope Rex would be proactive about getting his best players on the field. Could be dictated by opponents as well though, so you may well be right that snaps wouldn't tell us that much

    He'd been very solid so far but I was a little disappointed and wondering why the staff didn't seem to trust him enough to give him more snaps. I'd be interested to see if he got an increased workload today and wonder if maybe this was the week he finally bypassed Bryant in the staff's eyes.

    I thought it was actually Powell who fought off a facemask and made the key read and play on that ill-advised fake punt. And I can't believe not one person has offered a game ball to John Miller, who gave Aaron Donald nothing today.

    Yeah, I think the Rams look overmatched. The only team that can beat the Bills today is the Bills

    By the end of that game I was convinced that he had just played his best game as a Bill and almost certainly graded out the highest among the interior linemen. Solid in passpro and there were multiple instances where he got into the second level squared, set and ready to rock. Too bad neither of our backs seemed inclined to follow him.
