I've seen a couple recently where they haven't called it a TD because the ball was outside the pylon even though it clearly broke the plane while the runner was in bounds.
In order for a pass to not cross at least a piece of the pylon, the QB's arm would also have to be way outside the OB line on the sideline. That's something that I cannot imagine any referee would ever even consider introducing into a call equation.
This is the crux of that particular debate.
Although they have changed it in the past couple years. It used to be that a ball carrier could break that infinite plane outside the pylon, but now it has to be at the pylon or inside.
On a pass play it's always considered to be within the pylons because it's almost impossible for a QB to throw a completed pass where the ball doesn't go over part the pylon.
It sort of came out of his mouth like that but it was kind of garbled.
I thought he was trying to say that if his right foot is on the endline with the ball in his right hand it's a TD, implying that this meant the ball had touched the plane of the goalline.
Glad you had fun, but the second you turned your phone on, you f'ed it up, not your Dad.
Next time, just leave it at home. You'll probably survive a few hours without it.
I don't think it has anything to do with prving anything. I just don't think it's acceptabel for one person to tell another they are not allowed to do what brings them joy any more.
What if your love has always been fishing? Is it OK for somebody to tell you your not allowed to go fishing any more?
What's next, she'll tell him he's not allowed to play golf any more?
That stuff is just wrong, imo.
I disagree with this.
No woman should ever tell a guy when to stop doing what he loves.
If she doesn't like being married to a ballplayer, she has nobody to blame but herself.
