I really like Corey Graham but I think his legs are shot.

The three people making the most important football decisions for this franchise have neither the acumen nor the background to be doing so and likely never will. The Pegulas and Russ Brandon are probably a long term disaster for both of our sports franchises (although I'm not as hopeless for the Sabres). McDermott has a legitimate chance to be a very good NFL coach but if he doesn't get a handle on the holier than thou, develop some humility and recognize that he's not always the smartest person in the room it's only a matter of time before it all blows up in hi face. When it does we'll be right back to Duncan, Lady Macbeth and Wormtongue making football decisions that they are eminently unqualified to make.

Doug stood up there and took a lot of bullets for the Pegulas idiocy that day. And Terry told him on more than one occasion how much he appreciated that. But I guess that's what glad-handing backstabbers do.

This is simply not true in any way, shape or form. The only guys who was ever a problem was Doug Marrone and everybody in the building hated him.

That is the one saving grace that I am taking from this move. A good man has been released from a total shithole of an organization.

I think Taylor is a talented athlete with limited upside at the QB position because of his lack of field vision, questionable decision making and his erratic accuracy. And Whaley is open-minded enough that he is willing to go with what works, but given his druthers he'd take a more traditional pocked passer. The narrative that he was tied to Manuel and that he pushed him on anybody is entirely false with no basis in reality. And he didn't jack Taylor around; he read the market correctly, stood his ground and got his agent to rework the contract to make it more manageable.
