  1. It wasn't my claim, it was the excuse others were making for the toughness and smart play he displayed the minute he stepped on the field.
  2. He set a personal record by breaking not one, but two tackles today and I only saw him lost on offense once, which might also be a personal best. Props to him for sticking with it and getting better.
  3. Awesome. Are you the drunk guy in the blue coat?
  4. Yep, that's exactly what I said. Great post.
  5. Brock Purdy with another 3TDs, no turnovers and 75% completion. He's now played 6 games, which is more than most folks were suggesting that it would take D coordinators to "figure him out". Maybe next week?
  6. And I appreciate that, I really do. I respect it, am glad they did it and enjoyed watching it. But I think that tomorrow morning they need to recognize that the time for that is over. Because you don't win elimination games by playing with love in your heart; you win elimination games by violently and mercilessly beating the absolute ***** out of people that you hate with a white hot burning passion. If they want to survive this fight next week, they need to bring the brass knuckles and the lead pipes and give no quarter whatsover, cuz they sure as hell are not going to get any.
  7. He's like an angry sea lion out there right now
  8. Denny Killington Nyheim Hines Taron Johnson Dion Dawkins Greg Rousseau Sean McDermott
  9. It's possible. If that wasn't the case, then somewhere right now somebody is trying to peel Mike Tomlin off that guy.
  10. They tried multiple times today and got stung repeatedly
  11. And that's going to be even harder to come by without healthy ball magnets like Miller, Hyde and White.
  12. I was thinking that if you took a seesaw and set Isiah McKenzie on one end and the amount of tape on Ed Oliver on the other end, that Lil Dirty would probably still be calling for his momma to come and help him down.
  13. Yeah, when you can't do anything more up front than to spy Mac Jones, you're in trouble. I do give him credit for trying to gut it out though; he knows the D is torn up and was willing to try what he could to help.
  14. This deserves its own thread. We've seen some pretty electric moments through the course of this franchise's history, but I don't know if I've ever been tagged by an involuntary emotional surge like the one I had on the first play of today's game. That was something special and I hope it takes its rightful place among the greatest moments in this team's long history.

  15. Yeah, he's got about 40 lbs of tape on him. Errrr, I mean Kilos. Or wait, is it still Stone?
  16. He's only turned the ball over twice in the last two years despite leading the team in touches. It's not an issue for him. 👍
  17. I don't care who looked up what and why you believed them. Singletary rarely fumbles and you are 100% wrong saying he does.
  18. Look it up yourself. He's been the lead back with over 600 carries for the last 4 years and loses about 1 fumble a season over all that time.
  19. I was thinking the same exact thing earlier this week
  20. This week was actually the anniversary of Schoolhouse Rock's debut, with this exact Multiplication Rock no less. 🤯 Jan 6, 1973
  21. Yeah those last few plays where they needed to get the clock moving and he was chucking prayers downfield were a perfect example of that. Just 5 yrds and a simple slide is all you need but his mind is in run and gun mode on every snap and it makes him do odd stuff
  22. I think they will. And he was really good today for the majority of the game until they got desperate when down two scores.
