    Shakir probably had his worst sequence as a Bill right there. You can add in not coming back for that outstanding 3rd down throw because he lost where he was on the field and wasn't conscientious about down/distance. He makes that play and OT is the worst case scenario.

    I've never heard anything either. It just that up until last year, every time I saw him on an NFL field he looked like a swollen, pasty, out of shape, frequently unfocused drunk.

    I have never read any reports regarding this so it's complete speculation on my part, but I suspect that Baker Mayfield may have had a drinking problem that he has only managed to get under control over the last couple years.

    I take issue with this. But only because you left out the 70's for us old cranks that grew up watching Munson, Dent, Randolph, Nettles, Rivers, etc. I also agree that the mention of McDavid and the Leafs was..... less than helpful.

    You bring him up now for no legitimate reason, then he only has two call ups left for the entire season I think. That could become an issue if we have injuries at RB down the road.

    I'm not saying Sanders has been good, because he really hasn't yet. But he is playing a different role than both Walker and Phillips.

    Discounting the finale vs NE where the starters were resting, Davis only had 3 games last year where he got 9 carries and only one of those games wasn't a blowout. So far he has one game of 9 carries this year, and it was the blowout. I'm just not seeing that big a difference in usage so far and I think it's way too early to suggest anything is significantly different.

    I'm sure he did, but I'd bet the bulk of them were in the second half of the season. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that same trend again.

    Yeah, because they've been in tight games where they need wins and are sticking with Cook to make it happen. In the one and only game where they built a big lead Davis got 90% of his touches, most of them against a stacked box with Trubisky at QB. His limited touches have been situational, not a reflection on him.
