  1. He's a completely different animal without that knee brace. He didn't even look out of place playing End at times during that game. I loved the spin move he flashed right before he banged heads with three Jet Linemen and collapsed the pocket into Darnold's face that forced a bad throw that the new kid on the Corner picked off right before halftime.
  2. He might smash the season record for Tackles Broken in the Backfield this year Was verrrry interesting to see the Bills feeding him late. Great pad level and drive, always finds a way to get you that extra yard; that's really valuable when closing out games
  3. Not to mention they stole Renegade. As a Western Pennsylvanian surrounded by Stiller fans, that has thus far been my favorite accomplishment of the McBeane era.
  4. I do too. I think they recognize a window here in a chaotic season. And the panicked flip-flopping is entertaining in the short term; but it is not going to age well.
  5. Or the Bills will be one of two dozen teams to make a trade and he'll just pretend he knew something all along.
  6. OK. So the next time you start running around here trying to tell people about what's going on inside One Bills Drive (i.e. We are in serious conversation about a defensive tackle, McDermott and him do not get along at all, Beane ... is being pushed by McDermott to make a move, Big trade news on horizon It is common knowledge around 1 bills drive, etc) we will safely assume you're full of it and should be suspended for making up rumors. Understood.
  7. If all that you're doing is reading articles and guessing at puzzle pieces, I would strongly suggest that you do not try to make it sound like you know something more.
  8. Not only was it a pointless call, but the design of the play makes no sense at all. You show that fake to both sides and all you've actually accomplished is holding the defenders right in the middle of the field, which is exactly where your primary read is. What the hell is the point in that? You want that to work then you should show those two fakes, take a quick look at the middle and then throw it to whichever side you had shown the first fake. That guy is going to be standing out on the edge all by himself.
  9. You better hope so, cuz making stuff up and repeatedly pushing false rumors are a quick ticket out of here. And you better hope it ends up being Washington or a West Coast team, like you claimed it was. Unless you want to change your story right now while you still have a chance......
  10. Yeah he absolutely pulled the punch so as not to kill the guy, but he was coming across so fast there wasn't much he could do. He maybe could have got a little lower but then he's almost conceding the catch and possibly risking injury to himself. It's a tough, tough position for a DB playing at top speed.
  11. Yeah, I thought his shoulder slid up around his head. It's a really difficult rule for DB's to deal with. I am fully supportive of protecting guys' heads but I also wonder if the league hasn't erred a bit too much on the side of caution.
  12. It's not just about the helmet 1. forcibly hitting the defenseless player’s head or neck area with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder
  13. Did he finally get yanked? I couldn't believe Belichik signed him.
  14. This is not true at all. Early in the year teams were starting games in man schemes and then bailing out of it after about 3 series when they realized it didn't have a chance in hell against this offense. The only significant difference is that they are no longer even bothering to try to start games in man.
  15. If not for Josh Allens massive step forward, I would consider Beasley the most improved player on the team.
  16. Here was my post from the game thread about 2-3 plays right before that 3rd/1 read option he called. big props to Daboll on this drive Now don't do anything too Dabolish
  17. Most of the best coaches in this sport are focused on coaching the game, not wasting their attention on firing people up. If a guy can't bring it without somebody in his ear, he doesn't belong here. I agree with this in full and have no problem whatsoever with him clapping and staying positive with guys.
  18. Why do fans think it's the coaches job to fire up players? It's not the WWF....
  19. Instead of relaxing with a bowl of chili and watching the 4:00 games, I'm now going to take a chunk of my Sunday evening and clean up a bunch of trash from this thread. The 3-4 knuckleheads that are responsible for me having to do that because of the off-topic nonsense they've littered all over this thread should knock it off. I've already asked twice. I will not ask again.
  20. No, you're not. You have an opinion about this situation; it doesn't mean you're right. It just so happens than an awful lot of knowledgeable people disagree with your opinion.
  21. It's also why Moss and Allen both had some massive lanes today.
