  1. Yeah but was it the last regular season game you've attended? That was what gave me the guilt complex.
  2. I just realized that the last regular season Bills game I attended was the season opener vs Tennessee following that game. Damn, did I start that shlt?
  3. It was pretty much the definition of a "lateral"
  4. I'm not sure that is quite what Carl Sagan had in mind
  5. They should...have sent....a poet......
  6. I remember goggling at the replay they showed from that angle right after the play and wishing they would just halt the game and show it 100 more times in slow motion. Just completely absurd and an amazing glimpse at how this dude is seeing the field right now.
  7. Topic titles must reflect the content of the topic (and it must contain more than just a name). This helps to reduce the number of duplicate topics and makes the community much more user friendly. Please edit the title so that it properly reflects the discussion that you started. Thank you.
  8. He's been here longer than you have.
  9. Equally weighting WR numbers from what was clearly a "protect yourself" game does not strike me as any better of a solution than ignoring them.
  10. Nobody has said anything remotely resembling that which means that at this point, you're just trolling.
  11. With all the byes the Eagles got, Reid had to win just one playoff game to get in the NFCCG. With the changes in playoff formatting and being in the same conference as the Chiefs, McDermott has to win two games to get into the AFCCG. McDermott's and Reid's postseason records in Buffalo and Philly are only two games apart relative to .500. They are indeed comparable whether you like it or not.
  12. React all you want on your own time, but do not drag that trash into our nice living room please.
  13. Sean McDermott is one game under .500 in his postseason career. Andy Reid was one game over .500 in his postseason career in Philly. Their records are absolutely comparable.
  14. A herding or sporting dog is acceptable since we're working on something as innocuous as a football team. You don't want to agitate your own, so subtly visit one of your neighbors dogs with a concealed pair of safety scissors. The more neighbors, the better since we're working toward a pack concept. If you're OK with canine kidnapping you can actually have one of those dogs dig the hole.
  15. No worries, I've seen this before. You have to fill it full of wolf whiskers and bury it under a bison range during a waxing moon.
  16. btw, the greatest song ever written about The Price is Right The Showcase Showdown was set for a quarter to noon My spin did not make it all the way around, I got booooed Next thing I knew I was standing next to a Marine.... Who did not like his showcase and passed it on over to me.
  17. fwiw, my favorite Kordell memory: Early in his first year as a starter I was watching a game with a Steeler fan when Kordell got in trouble deep in his own end and was running around like a crazy person trying to avoid a sack. In the middle of this chaos in the backfield my buddy says "Touchdown!" and I started cracking up and nearly spit out my beer. Sure enough Kordell finally somehow gets loose and ends up taking off for what was about a 170 yrd long TD run.
  18. I agree that he was an outstanding college QB. And he was fun to watch in the NFL, but he could just never operate within the framework of pro systems.
  19. I disagree; the Steelers won in spite of him, not because of him. Most years he threw more picks than TD's; he had a career TD:Int that was actually below 1:1 He rarely completed 60% of his passes over a season and finished his career with a 55% completion rate. He only once managed to throw 20 TDs in a season and his second highest total was a paltry 14 TD passes. And all this despite a defense that repeatedly gave him the ball in great position while playing behind outstanding OLines and throwing to guys like Hines Ward, Plaxico Burress, Charles Johnson, etc. Even an average NFL QB would have won multiple SB's with that team during that stretch. He was a great athlete but an atrocious QB.
  20. The Steelers were stacked on both sides of the ball for Kordell Stewart's entire career. The reason they were never able to win a Super Bowl was Kordell Stewart. After they got rid of him, they then went on to win two Super Bowls over the next 6 years.
  21. To this day I still have a creepy childhood memory of having a high fever while watching the Price is Right and Bob Barker's mouth being absolutely enormous and taking up the entire screen.
  22. Nice try you sneaky subliminal double-talking SOB, but you'll never get me to buy a Ford!!!
  23. You've got to have somebody out there. I don't think there's anybody else behind him on the depth chart.
