If he stays healthy this year and plays anywhere near the level he played last year, he's going to get rich real quick. Last year he was probably the Bills best Lineman on either side of the ball and doesn't get enough credit for how good he really was all season long.

He's the best player on their entire team as far as I'm concerned and I wouldn't be remotely surprised to see the Bills moving Allen around a lot because of it.

Last year I think he had a grand total of 1 tackle after getting jacked up by Daryl Williams all night. He was so ineffective they ended up flipping him around just to get him away from Williams. Watt will show up ready to play and with chips on both shoulders re: his contract and getting dominated by #75 last year, and I still don't think it will make a galdanged bit of difference.

Not to be too flippant, but I really couldn't care less whether TJ Watt decides to play or not. The last time he stepped onto a field against the Bills, Daryl Williams spent 4 qrtrs making him his personal bi*** and I haven't seen anything to make me think that's suddenly going to change. I half hope he sits out just so I can forever make fun of him for ducking Daryl.

Oliver only played 6 snaps last week vs Chicago.

I just watched this again and realized he also chipped the RB after he buried the center. Ed Oliver is taking on quintuple teams.

I'm so confident in this offense that I'm not sure that even matters. Shade it different and they just score on you with a sluggo or a post/corner instead.

It looked like they had only run it about 15000 times in the last month. 😮

He's got a pattern that when games count he'll use those TOs freely in the first half but do a nice job hoarding them in the second. Today I'm sure he was using them for a reason (i.e. to set up a look or personnel matchup he wanted to see); he's earned the juice for me not to doubt what he's doing during a game or scrimmage.

We might just see you down the road again later this season.

McDermott did it on purpose so Mitch would be ready to do it again when it counted. That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about when I throw props at these coaches this preseason.

I'm more terrified by our corners than anything else but I feel pretty good about the safety position.

Some props to the coaching staff who did a great job managing to get a wide variety of players into a wide variety of scenarios, got a lot of interesting stuff on film, kept everybody healthy and finished an undefeated preseason with a shutout even while they were focusing on player preparation and evaluation instead of winning.

I just don't know how many over the top shots they're going to get for anybody this year. Nobody even bothers trying to play man against this offense any more (and if they do it lasts about 1.5 series) and with Allen's insane arm, defenses are going to have to have centerfielders out there on almost every snap.
