  1. All those twist and stunts are just hell on your run D.
  2. No doubt. The self-inflicted wounds were absolutely out of control there for a much of the first half and had a real effect on the scoreboard, imo.
  3. Yeah, he came back in. But I think he also went out again later in the game for a few plays and then came back in again. I'm guessing he tweaked something during the scrum that kept messing with him but that's only a guess.
  4. Thanks again for doing this. And thanks for confirming my suspicion that McGovern had, by far, his worst game as a Bill.
  5. If the officials were competent, the Bills would have been called for about twice as many penalties as they were. The OLine was mugging people all over the place in both pass pro and especially the ground game.
  6. That officiating crew was one of the reasons the Bills walked out of there with a win last night.
  7. Josh went to him early on a post-corner (I think; not 100% sure where Sherfield was lined up) that likely would have been a big gain but it was one of the incidental contact plays where he got tripped up.
  8. That was likely a result of him being an incomplete player resulting in the coaches being unwilling to fully trust him. How many times have we seen him on a blind rush blowing contain since we drafted him? He's slowly getting better at it, but let's not pretend that the only reasons he was on the sidelines were due to circumstances beyond his control.
  9. The only egregious mistake he really made last night was the 2nd TO in the 2nd half when the Giants were running late and sort of scrambling and he bailed them out with the clock stoppage to set his defense. I thought his game management was pretty good the rest of the evening, as it usually is.
  10. If they kick the PAT to go up 5, and the Giants score a TD to take the lead, the Bills can then still win with a FG. I initially wanted him to go for two when they were at midfield and driving but when they ran so much clock off finishing the drive, taking the PAT was the right call with the clock down under 5:00 and the Giants very unlikely having enough time for two FG drives.
  11. Yeah, corners will always be extra handsy in the EZ with the clock running down, exactly as they should be.
  12. That was not necessarily a bad penalty. Corners are supposed to be extra handsy in those EZ situations with the clock winding down (see: Taron Johnson). I guarantee you he was not the only DB with a handful of jersey on that play.
  13. And Diggs, who also carries some of that load.
  14. I thought I saw him as well, but the OP said it was Von out there. Maybe they were both getting snaps. 🤷‍♂️
  15. They'd been saving Von all night and wanted him on the field in crunch time, I guess. And while Epenesa is improving, he has not become a better player than Floyd yet.
  16. I said on 2nd down that I hoped he'd trust his defense and let Bass try it to go up 8. I stand by that and think it was the right call.
  17. Yeah, that was pretty close. Although Spencer was playing mean through the whistle right along with Dawkins (and Thibodeaux). Lawrence overreacted some but Williams was frustrated from just having a football jammed down his craw for 8 straight minutes and was out of line.
  18. Maybe Dawkins too since he was sort of the one that started the whole thing. Hands to the face twice on one play; he should have been called for the first one, if not the second one also.
  19. Yeah he had that thing cocked and I was hoping he'd dumb enouhg to throw it at Brown's helmet and get tossed.
  20. That's a designed waggle, imo. I think Allen has been seeing the field very very well.
  21. You wanted them to eject most of the Giants DLine all at once because of some shoving and wrestling on one play?
  22. I don't expect December's Kincaid to look like September's Kincaid.
  23. It's Kincaid when he catches up.
  24. I saw that too, almost like the snap was later than he was expecting
  25. Recognizing and overcoming his habit of being too handsy on that late ball was a step forward for him too. He's also going to catch way more hell than he deserves on the DPI he took, but it wasn't necessarily the wrong play and I bet he wasn't the only DB with a handful of jersey out there in that situation.
