  1. I thought the exact same thing. He threw it right where he wanted to throw it and then made sure that Knox got the accolades he deserved.
  2. Not having the option to use Tre White on Kelce is going to hurt. Not just that particular matchup but it will have a domino effect on the defense as a whole.
  3. Not to mention that the WR can get off the line way faster than the QB in shotgun, and the ball can be delivered by air way faster than carrying it there. It probably didn't matter anyways, but the hubris and stupidity of the way they chose to do it was beyond the pale.
  4. There's no way that call gets made without the approval of the head coach; they both deserve whatever happens to them. It probably would have been faster to just throw a 10-15 yrd dig if you want to use the middle of the field against that sideline D. That guy is a unique mix of stupidity and cowardice. Although I guess it's not unheard of for those particular traits to go hand in hand.....
  5. It was around the middle of the 3rd qrtr I think. There's a replay of it somewhere upthread.
  6. For as many snaps as he gets, 20 tackles and falling into some coverage sacks isn't exactly eye-popping. He takes a lot of plays off in the reg season but seems to pick things up when the chips are down in the postseason. I think it was probably legit in this case. Didn't really hit his head or snap his neck, but did fall on the shoulder awkwardly while he was fully extended.
  7. Anybody know what's up with his shoulder? He's a bit of a dog in the regular season but he's got a playoff motor that might get us a couple key plays a game going forward. Good guy to have around if he's healthy.
  8. It's either McDermott, Daboll or both of them. That late endzone shot to Knox off playaction on the first play of the drive followed immediately by the tackle eligible TD was a pretty serious FU.
  9. I tried, but watching film when somebody else has the clicker in their hand drives me batty.
  10. 128.5 is my magic number for red meats. If you can start it the day before and let it go overnight at that temp, it will make it significantly more tender.
  11. What on Earth have you seen this season to make you think that this OLine can protect longer developing plays with any reliability whatsoever?
  12. Impressive. One rarely sees that many lies packed into a single post.
  13. There's a BIG difference between playing in it and sitting there watching it. You don't even really feel it when you're playing.
  14. No surprises on Oliver at DE; they've been sneaking him snaps there since at least back in October. Any comments on Boogie Basham? I only had one eye on most of the game but I got the sense he may have played his best football as a pro.
  15. If Cam Heyward turfs Mahomes early, all bets are off.
  16. This is the 5th thread you've started about weather in the last month. Enough.
  17. Hands are always the toughest for me to keep warm. The last few years I've been using Ice Armor glove/mitts; they're designed for ice fishing so it's a glove with regular fingers and then a mitten shell on the outside. If I wear them outside in anything warmer than about 15-20F my hands will actually sweat until I have to take them off for a few minutes to cool off. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/icearmor-by-clam-renegade-mitts
  18. It works if the outer thermal is not too tight. The thin layer of air between them is what's actually beneficial so if you wear really tight clothes it negates that layer of air and slightly limits circulation. Keep that second thermal loose and you will be warmer.
  19. I didn't think of that joke until I had already posted.
  20. I'll second this. No fuss, no muss and it tastes just as good. Just make sure you don't warm it too much or too long or the beef will start to cook and get tougher.
