They were already at the 15; they didn't really need any more yards. Diving laterally instead of jumping backwards should have been good enough.

He was definitely getting it where the K wanted it. Quinn strikes me as a pretty good coach; Id guess he'll talk to him about not going backwards next time.

It was a hot read off a blitz and he had to get it up over the End. It just sailed on him a little bit. Glad he shook it off and didn't get gun shy.

It's definitely considered disrespectful. I don't think it's specifically listed in the rulebook so it's more of a spirit of the game thing.

The white hat has no responsibility for a call in the back of the endzone and to my knowledge no ref has ever said to a player "my bad". I think Josh was frustrated, getting salty with him and may have said something that toed the line of drawing a flag and the chief followed him to the bench and told him to cool it.
