  1. I wasn't watching at the time so I'd guess that it was more of an auto-response and Coach was just doing what he's got himself trained to do when down 9 late. 🤷‍♂️ At that point it's probably irrelevant which way you play it; just tell somebody to go start a fight and see if you can turn it into a circus and take advantage of the chaos.
  2. You're down 15 and need two TD's with 5 minutes left. If you try the 2ptconversion on the 2nd TD that you score and don't get it, then the game is over and you can't do anything about it with so little time now on the clock. But if you try it on the 1st TD that you score and don't get it, then you know you're still down two scores and can now play the rest of the game accordingly. It's admittedly more of a factor with 3-4 minutes left than it was today with 2 minutes left, but that's the way coaches are playing it now. If you find out earlier that it's going to take a FG in addition to the two TDs, theoretically you still have time to quicken your pace or use your TO's earlier than you would have, in order to at least give yourself a chance at an extra possession. If you don't find out until later that you need another possession, there might only be :20 left and now it's too late to do anything about it.
  3. He's forced a bunch of fumbles this year but has had some issues in coverage as teams seem to be attacking him in short areas. He's definitely got a knack for jumping routes at key moments in big games, though. Seems like it's only a matter of time before we see another one.
  4. Not a huge fan of her music but she seems like a genuinely awesome human being. Imagination Library
  5. Taron being back on the field is really huge. That guy is an irreplaceable multi-tool.
  6. Baker Mayfield looks like Baker Mayfield's mom drank heavily during pregnancy. Hell, we don't even need a middle man here. Baker Mayfield looks drunk and pregnant.
  7. Life is short. Eat dessert first!
  8. I could have just told the exact same story with my buddy's son who is still in college. It took 5 minutes to have that site down pat and at this point I'll likely never go back. Going to order one of these so I'll be in big screen business shortly. And I'm not going to feel one bit of remorse or guilt about it. Yeah, it feels like one of those "nobody can take advantage of you without your permission" moments. I hope 10m people feel the same way and decide to walk.
  9. Agreed. I respect that and up 'til now I have always been the same way. But when wealthy private entities want to make even more money by charging me to watch events in publicly funded stadiums that I've already paid for? It seems as if I've finally found my line. 🤔
  10. The wonders of modern technology. Example #46,398 of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. I've always been resistant to it but I've finally reached the point where I am now perfectly comfortable with pirating streams.
  11. Swinging a hammer outdoors at camp with a great view and no in-laws? I'll be right up!
  12. Wait, are y'all telling me that there is now a playoff game that you can't watch unless you pay for a particular streaming service?!
  13. The incident occurred shortly before noon when a car coming from the Canadian side of the border on the bridge connecting Canada to New York State went through the initial checkpoint passports and licenses are examined. The car was then was directed to another area for a secondary search, according to multiple law enforcement sources. As the car was heading towards the secondary search area, an explosion occurred, the sources said. Authorities do not know what caused the explosion. - CNN That seems most likely. Seeing reports that it happened between a primary and secondary search area though.
  14. This is absolutely true; he might have the happiest feet in the NFL right now and frankly I don't really blame him. The other issue that it's causing, aside from rushed decision-making, is that he's developed some serious accuracy issues. He's been throwing balls 8' over guys heads multiple times a game because his feet are rarely set. Put him behind a functional OL, give him some time to shake off the PTSD and he might end up being OK. 🤷‍♂️
  15. Anything for the Jester....... Go here Scroll to the bottom and click on Download Game Book (PDF) Snap counts will be the last listing in the PDF file
  16. This may ultimately turn out to be correct, but until they put an NFL caliber offensive line in front of him nobody will truly know for sure whether he is the real problem.
  17. lol, I was in and out of the room and missed that one. Thanks for the great visual.
  18. Yep, when it's that frequent and widespread, Coach becomes the common denominator.
  19. You guys are nutso. There was zero need for him to fall all over himself; he was in midstride when that ball contacted his hands and then he went stumbling and bumbling after it.
  20. Bunk. I dgaf about the media; that ball was a pillow. He could have stuck his arms out and just run through his route with his eyes closed and it probably would have stuck to him.
  21. He was also useless on that INT and blew the punt cover on that Eagles scoring drive among other mistakes you see from great athletes with poor instincts. I bet he's dumber than a chicken.....
  22. I think you're giving short shrift to the unreal frequency of execution errors that killed drive after drive. It was worse than the turnovers, imo; more frustrating anyways. I suspect that Dorsey was not a details guy in practice and that might be the biggest positive result from the change. Agreed on the more traditional game plan; been whining for years that it's the best thing you can do for Allen.
  23. He most certainly did not have to dive. Mahomes laid it perfectly in his basket.
  24. As a Devil's Advocate: Their pass catchers cannot look that gawdawful on a dry field can they?
