I've had 4 spinal surgeries, two of them when I was still playing ball and I know exactly what you mean. But I also know exactly what that spasm looks like on a ball field; and it don't look like that. When those buckle you, you head straight for the ground as fast as you can get there; you don't try to keep standing and fail. That boy's brain bounced of the back of his skull and I bet my house he's got a hell of a headache right this minute. I never even thought about it like that. That's hideously funny.

I actually did say that he hurt his back at one point. He got jammed hard on a sneak and it definitely jarred his spine. It was about a half hour before his concussion.

I'd forgotten about that right after Moss ran the tightrope to the 32, 26, 38 whatever. I hate taking TO's in the 2nd half just to avoid Delay penalties; it's a stupid habit that is more detrimental than beneficial. I'd much rather lose the 5 yrds than one of my 2nd half timeouts in a tight game. Especially on 1st down. Just take the light penalty and move on.

I've seen it called as a Delay of Game but I'm not sure what benchmarks have to be met to consider it a penalty. Or maybe coach gets one warning first? If you throw it in an instance that doesn't qualify you should probably at least lose a challenge or a TO. I assumed he saw something that smelled like a fake.
