  1. Yeah, because they've been in tight games where they need wins and are sticking with Cook to make it happen. In the one and only game where they built a big lead Davis got 90% of his touches, most of them against a stacked box with Trubisky at QB. His limited touches have been situational, not a reflection on him.
  2. Guy's been a fun poster here for almost 20 years. One of you jagoffs pull him in and hook him up with a good tailgate!
  3. The guy has maybe 10 touches this year and I think they've only thrown one ball at him. That's nowhere near enough a trend for me to want to consider using call-ups in October.
  4. He started slow last year too but by the end of the season was really taking advantage of his opportunities. We've seen some ability from him to get skinny and make hay in limited space; I don't really recall him getting any kind of space to work with this year.
  5. I never realized I hated Tom Brady because he's a white boy. I think we're done here. 🙄
  6. Hey, I'm smokin' in any jacket...
  7. I don't love how they've been drafting so you could be right. But the guy is smart for a meathead and does seem to have a knack for gathering players that do it how you're supposed to do it.
  8. Well, North Carolina is a Cigarette State
  9. They have no shot at the division unless Allen loses a hand in a bowling incident. But they are good enough to steal a game if you come in with half a playbook looking to get young guys reps as if it's a glorified scrimmage, which they've been doing for a the last few weeks. Sunday night at home against their only division rival? The boys are geeked, McD opens all the ammo cans and the Pats get a reality check.
  10. Yeah, they are a good team and I think they're going to keep getting better under Vrabel. But I also think the Bills have been laying in the weeds for three weeks eyeballing this matchup. I expect to see our A game Sunday night and if we do, they are not ready for that.
  11. Exactly. It's weird as hell because you can actually still sort of feel it and know "haha, I bet that really hurts" But you just don't give a shlt
  12. This is absolutely within the realm of possibility.
  13. The only perilous part was waiting at the house for the boss to get back to see if she was going to be mad that I used her little Princess as a prop for mayhem. And I'm still standing!
  14. We should probably fit that lunatic Charles Haley in here somewhere
  15. That was from last Oct/Nov. I think they shut down in early spring, right after ski season. This was sort of funny so I'll expound. A small crew of us go up for their beer fest every fall and afterwards typically walk down to the Depot for food and more beers. Last year I stopped by the house and grabbed the puppy after the beerfest then walked into the Depot with her in my shirt and went right to our table(s), shielding her from the bar area so they couldn't see her. I managed to have a couple beers while everybody in the place was laughing about it before a very cranky, unpleasant server saw her head sticking out of my shirt. Things then went like this: Cranky server: You need to get that dog out of here right now! Simon: What dog? Cranky server: The dog in your shirt, sir Simon: There's no dog in my.... <looks down> Aaaaghhhhh, what the hell?!?! How did that get in there?! Which one of you jackasses put a dog in my shirt?!?! <gets up and starts staggering toward door> Oh My God, it's trying to bite my throat!!!! <starts dramatically spinning around trying to get dog out of shirt> Aaaaaggghhhh, get it off, get it off!!!! <heading out door still wrestling with dog> For the love of God, somebody call Animal Control!!!!!
  16. I saw what he did to the safety on the run (muahahahaha), just wasn't sure if the IOL had left teh LOS for him.
  17. Hope that ends up being the case; the place was loaded with a bunch of cool Rolling Stones memorabilia. It's also the first bar that my new puppy ever got thrown out of.
  18. Spencer Rattler had a grand total of 6 completions for 50 yards to his entire WR corps.
  19. I thought it was their worst game of the year; although that doesn't necessarily mean they were "bad".
  20. Shouldn't this be in the Tyreek thread?
  21. You just have to roll 'em thinner now so you don't fall on your face.
  22. I didn't give him grief for that one; that was more on Torrence, imo. That's the second week in a row he's gotten beat on that outside/in move that he struggled so badly with as a rookie. I really thought he had solved that issue last year.
