I agree with all of this. I've found things much more enjoyable since I stopped watching/listening to it all many years ago. The TV goes on at kickoff and goes off when the game is over. I read this board only and the rare, well-written article that is linked here. Everything else I pay zero attention to. Give it a shot, you might find yourself more engaged by disengaging.
