  1. My understanding is that is just SOP in these cases. The bodycam will tell the tale.
  2. If it's Trubisky, I'm taking Miami and giving hte points
  3. Yeah, give up the site OP. Some degenerate gamblers want in on that business 👍
  4. Of course they did. Is there a better way to unman your entire team than with a chickenspit call like that?
  5. Might be time to rig up an outdoor TV for Sunday afternoons (or mornings for you I guess)
  6. I hope somebody puts that up on the wall tonight. I want it to be the first thing those guys see when they come in tomorrow.
  7. Advice from an old man who's been there: Start putting that napping toddler on an entirely different floor and on the opposite end of the house with a baby monitor. At some point you will be glad you did.
  8. I think it was more towards the palm of his hand and was likely just a really deep bruise that is going ot be sore as $#*& for a few days.
  9. I don't know whether to go with a laugh or agree emoji, because they both fit.
  10. It was an incredibly subtle push-off; one he clearly practices to avoid getting flagged, imo. When most guys push off it's because they realize they haven't won the route and it's a move to try to win what's already been lost and as a result it comes too late and they get caught. Coleman's push off was actually like it was purposefully integrated to be a part of his route; it's so quick and natural he's going ot get away with it all the time.
  11. I said the same thing to my wife at the time. "Holy shlt, he just made one of the best safeties in the world look like an idiot"
  12. That was on the longer catch down the field. He pushed off on the shorter completion outside
  13. Wowzers. Between Coleman and Ray Davis, so much for depth charts
  14. Yeah, he was actually being interfered with when the ball was coming in. The corner was tearing at the front collar of his jersey and it didn't affect Coleman at all.
  15. The most obnoxious poster in the game thread disappeared at half time. He did not do so mysteriously; or voluntarily.
  16. Looks like a dep bruise on his left hand that happened when he landed after hurdling Budda Baker.
  17. Not sure we're athletic enough up front to be a good screen team. 🤷‍♂️
  18. There were some snaps in the second half with Hollins and Coleman being the only two WRs on the field. Were they doing that in the first half too?
  19. I swear to gawd that my first reaction to that replay was "Damn, I wish he'd have seen him" I also wasn't upset with the idea of them returning another kickoff for a TD on that possession.
  20. Fwiw, I spent a lot of years playing straight man corner with no help over the top and I would much rather play against a guy like Worthy than a guy like Coleman. With a "Worthy" you start a bar brawl at the beginning of every play and try to end every play on the ground with a knee or elbow driving into ribs or hammies or whatever and the "Worthy" spends most of his day concentrating on you instead of the offense. With a "Coleman" you start that bar brawl for about a quarter and then realize "OK, that's enough of that" and then spend the rest of the day just trying to play him straight up because you can't beat him up or intimidate him. Advantage: Coleman
  21. Not to mention losing your world class nickel a couple minutes in. People don't respect enough what he brings to this defense both physically and mentally, imo.
  22. Absolutely. They are going ot have some options to torture corners going forward
  23. That is a legitimate question. I'm guessing they have both routes on the books and you'll see both at some point
  24. The route is decided before the snap. Allen isn't going to throw a different kind of ball mid play. They were running that same route at camp with the ball coming in hot and Coleman making the aggressive play on it overpowering the corner. The corner just played it strong at the LOS of scrimmage that time.
  25. That was one of the first points I made after seeing Coleman's game for the first time. He gives Allen options to do things that he's never had in this league before. He could effectively make Josh a better player in the same way that Josh could make Coleman better.
