  1. He's relying on a call from upstairs on whether to throw the flag. Whoever told him to challenge it should never have that responsibility again. He's not giving himself up; he's diving for the sticks.
  2. I swear I saw him talking to somebody over the headset while he still had the flag in his hand. Whoever told him to do that should no longer have that responsibility. Losing that timeout for no reason stung at that point. It's irrelevant because he wasn't touched down by contact yet and it wasn't a slide.
  3. Bet it's not the first time you've done that. Guilty here also.
  4. Oliver had dropped into a shallow zone by design and Daquan was riding pine by then.
  5. It's possible because you know how much importance they place on teh DL. Considering that I think we saw DaQuan Jones get demoted mid game today, they might just be willing to look for some insurance.
  6. With 5 DBs going against 5ish skill players, he's jsut generally the least capable athlete among those 10 guys and sometimes it stings the defense. I always give a ton of credit to guys who manage to create successful careers above and beyond their natural skillset and Hamlin is no exception. He's just limited in what he is capable of and can be taken advantage of by smart opponents.
  7. I think he's a marginal athlete, which just isn't enough when your read/react is usually a beat late.
  8. @HappyDays has mentioned Sebastian Joseph-Day in Tennessee. He can play all up and down the DL and is a FA at the end of the year so might be good value at a bargain price. Color me intrigued.
  9. Dorian Williams and Damar Hamlin are both problem spots and Miami spent the majority of their day attacking those two. I hope that both of them are backups by New Years.
  10. If we have Baylon Spector, Cam Lewis, Dorian Williams and Damar Hamlin all starting again, yes they probably will.
  11. The numbers weren't anything to write home about, but I thought he was brilliant for the majority of the game today. Outdueling a QB who was having a near perfect day supported by a ground game that cranked out 150 is no easy trick; he maximized nearly every opportunity he had with the ball and outfoxed the Dolphins DC at every turn.
  12. Tariq Woolen is having a very complicated two weeks
  13. It wasn't. On replay he put his shoulder into his chest without dropping his head.
  14. Led with his shoulder and kept his head up. Poyer did neither.
  15. You and everybody else watching that game. Geno is a freakshow of an enigma.
  16. I was just happy to hear the Jimi Hendrix bumper in a game in Seattle.
  17. We're now to the point that you're repeatedly crying about imaginary responses to a pointless thread. That should just about do it.
  18. I actually don't either. I remember he got arrested more than once (a DV or DUI in addition to the coke?) and figured he was so dumb he was going into lockdown at some point.
  19. He's a 3 down player in the Ohio Penal League.
  20. They restructured him with some void years but I think he's still essentially a FA after this season.
  21. If you watch that game again, watchAllen before the snap as much as after. He was in as much command of that field as any QB you will ever see, imo.
  22. That dude hasn't been right for 5 minutes this year.
  23. That wasn't a random shot downfield in the 2nd qrtr. The game was riding on the ball there and they have to give him some leeway to attack it. The penalty was the right call but an ejection on a game deciding play would have been wildly inappropriate, imo.
  24. And he still fell forward for 2-3 more. I think folks underestimate how good he really is.
