I'd think he was upset because it was a 4TD lead with 3 minutes left and the game was over. At that point everybody is just trying to get off the field healthy and Rapp going kamikaze on a meaningless play late in a decided game was unnecessarily dangerous.

I get it and kind of agree. But there's 225 and then there's 225, and they don't always look the same Fwiw, when the Bills paid Milano, my only concern was about his durability. That concern appears to have been unfounded and I hope it is this time as well.

I love it when I can't decide between the laughing emoji and the awesome emoji.

I'm not sure about his athleticism at this point, but he is regarded as being extremely smart and instinctive running zones, recognizing how offenses are trying to attack and getting to exactly where he needs to be. Here's a pretty good article pointing that up with specifics

Wonder if this says something really positive about Bernard in a way? If a seasoned vet like Kirksey is watching film on Bernard and coming to the conclusion that he can't unseat him, that would be sort of impressive. I don't know, man. The kid is about 225 and utterly fearless; it's a legit concern, imo.

Well, that didn't take long.....

I had somebody in another thread tell me that other QB's (i.e. Kenny Pickett) make throws like that all the time.

Get your minds out of the gutter, creepers ; - ) During the first half of the Jest game, even when he wasn't playing particularly well, I remember remarking to myself that his release looked markedly improved from last year. Then during the Raiders game he cut loose several throws that actually had me goggling. I don't know what he was doing or who he was working with in the offseason, or whether the speculation about his elbow was legitimate all last year, but I think he clearly worked on something that is showing up in his game now. He is snapping it off like nobody else in the world right now. And maybe I'm just being a fanboy but I think I'm about two weeks from saying that Josh Allen now has the most wicked release of any QB that's ever played in the NFL.

Oh and by the way, Garoppolo owes him some genuine groveling on top of Rapp's "my bad". That was an ignorant-assed throw from a spineless jellyfish , and I was almost as pissed at him after the play as I was at Rapp.
-
Yeah, if it's a 10 point or 14 point game then have at it boys. But it's literally a 4 TD lead with 3 minutes left to play. Putting the crown of your helmet into an exposed guy's jaw at full speed at that point is just wrong. It's the kind of stuff that leads to people having genuinely serious problems down the road.

Yeah, that was my reaction too. Apparently his degree at Louisiana-Lafayette was criminal justice and he entered FBI training after he retired from the NFL. Pretty galdanged impressive, Peanut. -
It has nothing to do with Hamlin and nobody knows what the hell you're jabbering on about this time......

I'm sure nobody wants to hear it but he's absolutely right and during the game I immediately thought Rapp owes him an apology. I'll cut/paste what I said the day after because it fits better here: Agreed that D Adams should not have been on the field at that point. But Taylor Rapp needs to learn to hold his water. I get that he doesn't get a lot of snaps and wants to do something with the ones he does get, but you need to be game aware and respect other people no matter what jersey they're wearing. That game was for all intents and purposes over at that point and there is no need to be out there trying to murder people when you're just running out the clock. Who gives a damn if he catches that ball at that point, it's not going to affect the game one way or the other; just give him a tap on the hat on the way by to ensure he's down by contact and move on to the next play. Going for killshots like that can literally mess with people's lives, and there's no need for it at that point in a game that is all but over. I hope Rapp gives Adams a call this week, checks up on him and apologizes for getting caught up in the moment.

Preliminary autopsy does not suggest "traumatic injury" but does identify a "medical issue" -
I should amend my post to insert the word "free". I don't intend on keeping DTV for all eternity so this might be a viable option. Thanks! P.S. Does it matter how far you are from Bos/NY resulting in blackouts? I'm right on the very edge of the Erie broadcast zone which is why I get Sabres games even though I'm much closer to Pittsburgh than Buffalo. Although, all my networks are P'burgh affiliates so I don't know if that is what decides my fate re: blackouts.

Hopefully it's a room for improvement.

Damn, man. Couldn't have happened on a Tuesday at 6pm, right? They will mess with your business at the absolute worst time.
