  1. That's weird because he's one of my very favorites. I used to watch him working with Mayock during the draft way back in the day. He reallllly knew what he was looking at and did his thing with no self-promotion and a lot of smarts and wisdom. A total breath of fresh air when compared to the rest of the media landscape.
  2. omg, that would be a perfect next move for them
  3. He was probably thinking of Kelce's propensity to toss laterals mid-play and his mindless jabbering just included Mahomes. There's a link to a creeper interview of his a few posts above yours. If your creeper radar isn't going off, check your batteries. The majority of them are bad; Collinsworth is just next level willfully stupid. I actually like Tirico; I just think he's stuck dragging an albatross that he probably like secretly hates.
  4. I was referring to his strength in defending the run from the DE position. He is arguably the most effective 4-3 DE in the NFL at doing that. I could not care less whether he likes us or not
  5. I don't know what an island game is but I do feel like the Bills have had enough SNF games that a color guy should be able to avoid making statements that are literally the exact opposite of accurate. I'm not a 12 year old girl and I don't give a shlt if he likes us or not. Just be competent.
  6. Stop starting threads and expecting others to provide content for you. A list of players is not worthy of starting a thread. Enough of the illegible and/or zero content threads. If you want to start a thread, have the consideration to put some actual effort into it please.
  7. Thank you for the image in my head of an angry Bart Scott pushing small children down stairs throughout various stadiums around the country. I am now leaving my computer before you give me a heart attack
  8. I'll fold this into the random head thread but this was so stupid I've got to point it up first. So anybody with two eyes knows that Greg Rousseau has inarguably been one of the stoutest, best run-defending DE's in the NFL since about 10 minutes after he stepped on to the field. He's been beating the dogspit out of OT's for 4 straight years with virtually no let-up and both film and analytics consistently suggest he's arguably the best in the world at it. He made a play last night and CreeperC said (paraphrasing) "Greg Rousseau, he's long and strong but it seems like he's finally starting to add a little physicality to his game" Are you f'ing kidding me? Even a cursory investigation into him at any point would suggest he's one of the most physical DE's in football and this is the analysis you want to provide during a game? How in the hell has it gotten to the point where a network can gladly put a creepy moron that everybody hates on the air every week for so many years? Note to NFL suits: Nobody is turning on SNF to hate watch him; he is not helping you in any way. People are literally turning the sound down (the sound your advertisers are paying for) just because they want to watch some football on Sunday night. Ratings aren't going to go down and may go up if you get rid of him. Wake up and recognize that he is a net negative you dolts.
  9. Your plan for the cover story was what made me realize that there was no way I was tossing this.
  10. I'm becoming convinced that he is so legitimately weird, that's it not a schtick. And I mean that in a genuinely positive way.
  11. lmfao I am really starting to like this guy
  12. Not illegal to tackle a ballcarrier, but if it was germane to the play and he held it for another second, they could have called him for holding. As it was, that 'backer had no chance of beating Allen to the goalline and Hollins only held it for a split second so it looked like his finger just got accidentally stuck. I think he was probably just having fun messing with a guy that he'd been scrapping with earlier.
  13. I only needed to read the first three words of the title to decide to toss it. Then I started reading the responses and couldn't stop laughing. My rule of thumb is "if it's making me laugh and people are having a good time with it, just leave it alone"
  14. < dusts off ban hammer..... >
  15. I get that. But this whole "push" thing just doesn't pass the smell test. If some jerkweed actually pushed a little girl down icy concrete steps in front of 100 people, I cannot comprehend that there were no immediate repercussions. I would think that at least 5 guys would go after him, or if nobody in the area was comfortable with that, somebody would have gone and fetched security while 40 other people were pointing at him chanting ####### .... ####### .....
  16. It might be the easiest way to get close enough to him to kick his ass
  17. After watching this again, I've changed my mind. He did that **** on purpose.
  18. Yes, that was exactly it. belinda became so ubiquitous that I forgot anything actually preceded it
  19. I'm still not convinced it was intentional. He was blindly reaching for a defender to push away from Allen's path and I think his finger just got caught for a second It was in the endzone on Allen's scramble for a TD (not the lateral). ☝️ That's my link because you can find it faster than I can
  20. I'm not ready to have that conversation yet, and when I am I'll have to add the clarifier "on offense". But I admit that it has been creeping into my head as of late. It's like every single week he does something that I have never seen anybody do before; and it just keeps happening over and over and over again. I don't know if you're a Sabres fan, but it reminds me a lot of watching Hasek's career. After a couple years you realized you were seeing something truly extraordinary and felt privileged to have a front row seat to the greatest performance of all time. Josh Allen is absolutely beginning to encroach on that territory, imo.
  21. This thread cannot even get started until @RobbRiddick's avatar shows up
  22. He actually hurt it well before that. It was on the 3rd down play where Brady called up the QB draw and he steamrolled a LB to get past the sticks.
  23. I was specifically referring to Oliver and DaQuan Jones, but yeah now that you mention it, they do somehow feel less desperate and more patiently in control than they have in some previous seasons.
  24. On one of the older versions of TSW the layout made it easy to post a thread title that conveyed some bit of information without actually having to put anything in the associated text box if you didn't want to (i.e. this Coleman "thread" is sort of an example). There was a poster named Belinda who would get good and pissed off every time somebody did it because for some reason it bugged the hell out of her. Naturally, one of our resident wags decided it would be entertaining to agitate her by placing "belinda" in parentheses on any thread title that didn't have any associated text. I don't know whether she's still around but I'd like to take a moment and thank her for not hunting me down and killing me.
