  1. I have to wonder how long Beane had been eyeballing this. Could this be something he had been plotting even since before the draft?
  2. When there is already another thread with that subject being discussed, it is generally frowned upon to start new ones. Particularly ones with a single sentence and virtually zero original content. If everybody did that, the forum would be unreadable.
  3. He's trying to get under a block and just get a piece of the ballcarrier down low. Of all the nonsense calls we saw, that may have been the worst of them. I don't know that I've ever seen a crew so eager and trying so hard to throw flags at anything they could possibly deem a violation. Even completely imaginary stuff like Taron's. It was like they thought they were earning massive bonuses for every action they took. Just the complete opposite of how a game should be called. If every game was called like that, I would literally never watch another minute of NFL football again.
  4. He's working his way right over to the bench
  5. Yeah, that was certainly part of it too.
  6. Pretty sure that both guys were actually taken off the field in the last minute when the Bills were kneeling. I doubt that is customary and I bet McDermott was taking advantage of a teaching moment to get a message across.
  7. I really don't know. But for a point-producing position that can and does decide games, they sure as hell ought to.
  8. Questioning the guy who is standing directly under the post watching the ball always cracks me up.
  9. Agree with all that, but this staff has to be very proactive keeping guys from getting too proud this week.
  10. The Boddhisatva / Dukes of Hazzard combo is nothing short of absolutely exquisite.
  11. No doubt. Those asshats might have thrown close to 30 flags in a 60 minute game.
  12. When they showed them my son suggested Aikman may have radiation poisoning
  13. I want to see where that End was lined up again. That was some heads up work from a QB in command tonight.
  14. I don't believe for a second that he's still be on the field at that point.
  15. It's right at the point of attack; you have to call that every time. Glad you're safe
  16. The Bills media team made a smart assed comment about it on some platform
  17. 50 constantly bitchy posts all night and now complaining about the QB who was the best player on the field for either team.
  18. It seemed like toward the end of last year, he started doing a much better job of playing with his head up. I want to give credit to Hyde and Poyer for having a positive effect on the one really troublesome part of his game.
  19. And that is what makes it fun...

  21. One of those weird situations where neither call is "wrong". 🤷‍♂️ I kind of thought that was the only one that was sort of legit. He tried to drive that throwing shoulder right into the turf, and I don't blame him. I did too but on a replay they showed later, it looked like it went about 8" forward.
  22. I'm not giving up hope yet in case he's protecting a toe, but he is absolutely a half step short of the guy we've seen throughout his career.
  23. I liked his decision making and thought it created a bunch of extra yards for him and kept this offense ahead of schedule. Combined with his effectiveness on first contact and that ability to buy extra yards at the end, it's a nice combination of traits; none of it flashes but it's really effective in keeping your offense moving.
  24. I'll have something to watch when the new 8 week old puppy get up raring to go at 3am
