  1. Here is a pretty good description It can really put a lot of pressure on a defense, creating confusion and resultant assignment mistakes and/or penalties. Show it enough and they'll also be spending extra time during the week trying to prepare for it. If you can get good at it, it's a vicious little gimmick.
  2. It's certainly possible. But when you consider the negative impact no-huddle can sometimes have on your own defense, it's also possible that our HC/DC might not be willing to sign off on it. I'd guess McD might be more inclined to get the O to the LOS fast to prevent defensive substitutions and then have them take their time with play calls and/or pre-snap reads. I also wouldn't be surprised to see them using sugar huddles to stress defenses both during the week and during games.
  3. I sort of liked the idea, but it appears Teddy is on his way to the Motor City.
  4. A properly made mai tai has more rums than mixer I've had 4 back surgeries and every one of them has been an improvement and bought me several more years of full activity, including football. I have no idea what kind of condition Spencer Brown's back is in but it's not likely relevant because I don't think he can play OTackle in this league anyways and nobody seems to have the wherewithal to kick him inside and see if a 6'8" Guard is actually a problem for Allen or not. 🤷‍♂️
  5. Is it us? Anybody know of any other teams' that is equal or better? Drop some links of good ones here if you got 'em. Going forward, folks can even refer back to this thread as sort of a bookshelf if they want to check in on other fanbases for info.
  6. Probably making sure they didn't get hurt while the clock was running out with a two score lead.
  7. I think his snaps are going to be more limited this year and that might be a good thing in January.
  8. The judge said it was either this or the army
  9. I'd love it to be true, both for him and for us. We'll see soon enough.
  10. That may be the first time it's happened since he was two.
  11. Maybe you should have been more aquiet ; - )
  12. I'm no expert, but I will say that I've seen Bates try to play OT in this league and I never ever want to see it again. He's just not long or athletic enough to deal with DEs in space.

  15. I seriously don't care what he ran on a track in college 5 years ago. If you watch him on an NFL field in pads, he is not fast. He's got some quicks, but his long speed is middling in this league.
  16. Actress? Wait, Olivia Munn is a woman?! Whoaaaa, I guessed that one wrong..... And what the hell is a google?
  17. The guy is not even that fast. And I don't care what he ran on a track in college 5 years ago. Every corner in the NFL can probably run him down in pads.
  18. I've seen it twice on guys I was covering (one was partially my fault cuz I think I stepped on his heel when I was jamming him coming out of a cut) and both times they were seriously hurting. The ones I've seen were like an ACL, where it really hurts for a minute and then settles down pretty quickly.
  19. I said the same thing But another fella said he'd also seen a couple that didn't seem to hurt that much
  20. I've seen the same, both with guys I was actually covering, and they both went down like they'd been shot and were chewing grass to keep from yelling. Maybe it's a matter of where or how it pops?
