Most "simple" ACL's I've seen, guys are capable of walking around within 5 minutes of the initial pain fading Makes me wonder if this is something else.

I disagree with you on this one. I think he'd have been called (and deservedly so) for the jersey pull if the ref's line of sight hadn't been blocked.
