  1. They didn't in the middle of the field because the Ravens were flooding it. There was room in the flats that Brady refused to adjust to, imo.
  2. The Bills wont' be telling us squat about it, nor should they
  3. Yes he did; because he's hard-ass muther*****. But he was down hurt and they were working on his throwing shoulder after the play. He did not get out of that scot free
  4. The Ravens entire coverage scheme was predicated on taking away the WR corps downfield. They were dropping into a shell right from the get go and mixing in blitzes to force teh Bills to not have time to attakc them downfield
  5. I want you to justify that take by telling us what the Ravens D ran tonight. When you can't I'll be locking this thread eventually and re-opening the other WR thread which was significantly higher in quality and more informed. Not trying to be a jerk; just letting you know why it's going to happen.
  6. Is he? I think his throwing shoulder took some minor damage and his head hit the ground hard several times.
  7. Maybe not. But Babich did finally adjust out of that passive horseshlt late in the 2nd qrtr and it was working. I don't know if they could have kept getting away with it with Lewis, Spector, Hamlin and WIlliams out there instead of the starters, but some Raven sphincters were about to get tight.
  8. That was about to be a one score game in the 3rd qrtr and the Bills with all the juice. It flipped everything. (Although with another half second, it might have been 6)
  9. And Hamlin. It was outstanding work by their staff. And would have likely looked much different with Taron, Milano, Bernard and Cole Bishop.
  10. I don't disagree. But if he saw that Coleman was coming open for 6 down there? I understand......
  11. He made the mistake of thinking endzone there instead of turning to secure the catch. Greedy rookie but I think he's a learner. Nice footwork for a big man on the two back shoulders. Thought this was Brady's biggest failure to adjust tonight. Swings and flares would have created problems for those blitzes we could not deal with and the Bills ignored all that space.
  12. Lewis, Spector, Hamlin I think
  13. Yeah, I was kvetching about that in the game thread. Mid 3rd qrtr I couldn't remember them properly dealing with a single one.
  14. He spent a lot of the game spying Lamar and Henry did most of his damage on the edges. He wasn't "good" but he wasn't given many opportunities outside the 3rd qrtr
  15. I get the sense that the All22 is going to show us Coleman streaking up the seam past flat-footed DBs. But it was still a bad design and a dipshlt call right there
  16. James Cook had acreage in both flats against that defense and Brady refused to adjust and Allen refused to look at it.
  17. He hasn't won a playoff game in 10 years
  18. We're decades beyond backups being very relevant in the NFL anymore, imo.
  19. You'd be asking him to do something very complicated that he has never practiced. They might go with another LB instead but we're already starting all backups.
  20. He cannot play the nickel in this D
  21. As long as he doesn't get anybody hurt, he's irrelevant
  22. Coleman was flying up the seam and I think the DBs were caught flatfooted but you couldn't see enough of the field to know for sure. The whole exchange was fouled up with Samuel hung out to dry against a rusher and Allen having not time to set. There might have been a TD down there, but ti was still stupid to call it right then.
  23. I don't disagree with any of that. It was a gutless defense in the first half and they paid for it against a well-coached offense.
  24. Please don't start new threads during games. Please don't start threads about circus barkers ever.
  25. It's been good discussion and I wouldn't mind seeing it still going, but I don;'t want it turning into a screech fest right now. It will open up again tomorrow when we're all less stupid.
