Saturday night we had a sort of closing ceremonies party out our camp on the river before closing up for the winter. After midnight when most everybody had headed off for bed I took off the jumpin' party music and put on that "Eyes" with Branford Marsalis and just sat by the fire with a nightcap soaking it up. Damn, did Phil do great work in that. Genuinely skilled leads on a rhythm instrument; just beautiful stuff all around. 🥲 -

He's a smarmy bag of johnsons and I don't think I registered three things that came out of his creepy mouth yesterday. -
A moment of clarity!

Rooting for an AFC team we don't get as many Fox broadcasts, but there is somebody over at that network that's managed to get control of their bumper music and who reallllly knows what they're doing. I have heard some absolutely spectacular selections while casually watching NFC games. Even yesterday was a good example. Some schmoe might have just picked Touch of Grey as a nice little tribute, but that guy knew that not only was Help/Slip was a perfect choice, but he knew to pick that transitional section where Phil stands out doing a sort of call/response game with the band. Absolutely brilliant and the perfect choice; couldn't have done it better myself. Not sure about the airmailed snap but the one where the Center tripped Geno was probably going to the 5 hole and was probably going to score, imo. It wasn't a sure thing by any means but it looked to me like the hole was going to just be available enough to get the yard. -
Just trying to be helpful

Those penalties felt like they were trying to commit attempted murder on a couple of those drives but Josh Allen wasn't having it. -
I was agreeing with the sentiment that Cooper could/should be getting more opportunities because he's a better player than Hollins, but just didn't do it very clearly.
-
I agree there is no doubt about that. I also think it's fair to wonder if his best is better than Mack Hollins' best.

He did look like he was shot out of a cannon!

Dammit, he's a Doctor, not a machine!

Pearsall seemed a little gunshy at the end of that play.......

I'd suggest it's only negative if it's the only thing you can do. -

I thought the same thing and it made me wonder if that left hand is still affecting Allen's ball-handling because he's typically better than that. -
He was wildly overrated, imo.

It's certainly not the best reason, but if it's the only thing that somebody can utilize to become actively better, it will do to pay the bills.
