  1. I disagree; the Steelers won in spite of him, not because of him. Most years he threw more picks than TD's; he had a career TD:Int that was actually below 1:1 He rarely completed 60% of his passes over a season and finished his career with a 55% completion rate. He only once managed to throw 20 TDs in a season and his second highest total was a paltry 14 TD passes. And all this despite a defense that repeatedly gave him the ball in great position while playing behind outstanding OLines and throwing to guys like Hines Ward, Plaxico Burress, Charles Johnson, etc. Even an average NFL QB would have won multiple SB's with that team during that stretch. He was a great athlete but an atrocious QB.
  2. The Steelers were stacked on both sides of the ball for Kordell Stewart's entire career. The reason they were never able to win a Super Bowl was Kordell Stewart. After they got rid of him, they then went on to win two Super Bowls over the next 6 years.
  3. To this day I still have a creepy childhood memory of having a high fever while watching the Price is Right and Bob Barker's mouth being absolutely enormous and taking up the entire screen.
  4. Nice try you sneaky subliminal double-talking SOB, but you'll never get me to buy a Ford!!!
  5. You've got to have somebody out there. I don't think there's anybody else behind him on the depth chart.
  6. Awesome! I will never use Rosen as a verb again!!! First loser
  7. I think the 'backer was down there because he was chasing Ty Johnson on the wheel. And I'm still enjoying the the fact that DJ Reed had such a special day out there. I don't know what he said to Josh Allen or when he said it, but he'll be ruing that one indefinitely.
  8. I wonder if it's because folks sometimes forget these guys are just people too. They don't want to wreck themselves for nothing a week before the games that will define their careers. Every player in the game knows how to protect himself and most of them will do so if coach gives them permission. Keon is not stupid; he knows when it's time to go and when it's time to slow.
  9. Bingo. No, he was instructed to protect himself. Just like everybody else was. And they all did.
  10. It was really really weird. A lot of announcing is weird anyway, but that was really really really weird.
  11. A cold? You could try brewing up a big cup of Quit Being a *****.
  12. And it wasn't just yesterday either. It's been going on for a month.
  13. He's been absolutely killing the Steelers down the stretch with his rookie foolishness. Tomlin has got to be tearing his hairs out.
  14. I can't imagine why nobody is talking about the safety position in a thread about a wide receiver. There are multiple threads on the front page about the defense and specifically the safety position; it's not the first time you've posted something like this when it was clear you didn't even look at the forum first.
  15. And it costs even more to leave!
  16. Hamlin may be the "safe" choice, but that could end up meaning that instead of giving up the big play, opposing offenses repeatedly victimize his lack of athleticism. I'd rather see Bishop out there even if he takes the occasional bad angle but keeps doing other things that Hamlin isn't capable of. The Bills are playing for a Super Bowl. Forget safe, it's time to throw caution to the wind.
  17. It was until Maye went down; then it becomes a sack because Miller was the one that grabbed him and forced him to the ground.
  18. They've done it on early downs during a few games over the last month or two. If all three of Bernard, Milano and Williams are healthy, they can probably run it effectively while protecting Williams. If one of them is out, it becomes a much more dicey proposition.
  19. Damn, I thought she liked me for my mind.....
  20. I didn't see hardly any of it due to streaming issues, but I was rooting for the Pats anyways. Mission accomplished 👍
  21. I haven't really watched them all year but they look like a totally disheveled mess on both the field and the sidelines.
  22. How in the hell did this team get to 14-2?
