How many years does Oliver have left on his contract? What does it cost the Bills to release him at the end of the season? He is not worth all of that money. The Jets chose the right DT in the same year Oliver was drafted. Wish it were the other way around. First one to blame is the D-Line coach, then the defensive coordinator. Ultimately, this is Beanes fault for not addressing this need then and even now. Not too late to find someone…anyone who perhaps retired but may have 1 year left. Sean is not really a micromanager.

Bills should place Curtis on IR and trade for Kupp and M. Garrett. I would dangle Knox and Von.

Unfortunately, we cannot cut him because it’ll cost too much to eat. I would however extremely research and find a kicker on the planet that can kick. Bring him in on the cheap and have him compete. Iron sharpens iron, as Beane always says, and so it’s always important to bring in bodies at different positions, prior to the start of the season, and ultimately have them start if they are better. This includes QB. Leave no stone unturned!

I’ve noticed that Samuel is not fast anymore. He definitely has lost several steps and git to his giddyup!

I can’t remember the last time when the Bills defense brought constant pressure to QBs. Having Von Miller on our defense has not worked out so well and potentially could end up being the worst signing in Bills history. Greg Rousseau showed flashes game 1, and has now been non existent. Every year this guy gets hurt early on. But what is constant is that even when he has returned he’s sucked. Same with Ed Oliver. All of this money heavily invested on the defense and we can’t even cause the amount of pressure required to stop QBs dead on their track. This is so sad. Is the problem the personnel or is it the coaches? Again this defense is expensive and so they need to realize that it’s time to pay dividends. If they can’t, trade them and replace them with the offense weapons Josh lacks. Speaking of offense, I remember when Brady had Edelman. Dude was a life preserver for him. Allen did great when he had Beasely. I think Josh needs a slot guy, outside of a TE, to help him in games.

Metcalf was there for the taking. Bills fudged up and now they’re interested? I dont think so. No one on this staff ever wants to admit a mistake.
