I mean, look how many of these retired offensive linemen lose ridiculous amounts of weight almost immediately after retirement (Eric Wood and Jeff Saturday come immediately to mind.) Many of them certainly focus on keeping weight up while playing.
Where do you get “this isn’t seriously discussed”? It’s been repeatedly proposed since the NFL began lobbying for more regular season games in earnest.
yeah me too. Apparently not - Jamie was a sideline reporter for CBS according to the blurb but I can’t remember a single time I saw her on the sideline of a Bills game, most of which have been on CBS locally.
The NFL is not allowed to play Fridays last I saw. Moving one game from Sun to Sat has nothing to do with this.
Edit: but I do take your earlier point about the high rollers not wanting to miss their hooker and drug parties the Saturday night before the game.
King printed it because he himself proposed a similar moronic idea a few years back. I vividly remember Tasker’s reaction to it on the radio - it was basically what you just said.
I’m sure starting QBs around the league would be super pumped to play in games without their healthy starting left tackle (for example.) very good for the “health” of those guys.
not to be a jerk, but I own a dictionary. I also went to law school so I understand the legal principles behind “coercion” and based on what has already been “alleged” in the media YES he coerced at least a couple of these women.
No “coercion” huh? That’s exactly what he was doing in pretty much all these cases - trying to coerce these women into touching him in ways they did not want or agree to.
