  1. Because they didn’t beat the chiefs, chiefs, bengals, and chiefs. sitting on one aggregate stat and crying over it is, dont want to be too insulting, but it’s pathetic. beating the piss outta various bad (and sometimes good!) teams during the regular season over the past 3 seasons doesn’t mean anything as far as winning championships.
  2. Sure why not.
  3. 100% oversight T. Johnson - elite talent
  4. Josh Allen-elite talent Ed Oliver-elite talent Stefon Diggs-elite talent Matt Milano-elite talent James Cook-very good talent Terrell Bernard-very good talent Khalil Shakir-very good talent Christian Benford-very good talent Rasul Douglas-very good talent
  5. Jesus Christ. Allen is awesome. Top 2 QB 8in the league right now. I am beyond glad we took him over Rosen, or even Jackson. The Bills still f*ed up passing on Mahomes. That’s a fact and whatever you homers want to deflect or disassociate that’s fine.
  6. So we’re waiting for a hall of famer to walk through and play for a season or two now?
  7. Seriously. 2nd thread this week that is just “get hype!” basically.
  8. lol sure. You can say that with nothing to compare it to. Again the ridiculous BS around here is astonishing. Glad the season’s over.
  9. Okay. Jesus this place is getting soft AF.
  10. You want me to explain “outside of Hill” how they let top 3 talent walk and still won?
  11. hope you’re right! 👍
  12. The Chiefs let the highest of high end talent walk. And won 2 SuperBowls. Yes you’re definitely smart though give us another 1200 words.
  13. i agree. again, i think it is a matter of degree and semantics. Personally I disagree with the homer argument that we have “special” and “unique” fans based, at least a little bit, because of clout chasers that coined a cool nickname online and brain dead idiots throwing themselves through tables. nothing is “special” about that.
  14. lol no. Been skipping some Mensa meetings?
  15. hope so!
  16. absolutely well said Augie.
  17. well it depends on the interpretation of “special” then. I took the OP as meaning it to be one of a kind or particularly unique. If you’re taking it as exceedingly loyal or whatever, then we agree.
  18. I’m glad you brought up comparisons to die hard SEC fanbases. They and other college program fanbases are the type of ravenous fans akin to the Bills’. And that was basically my point. Considering Bills’ fans as particularly “special” is the actual myopic view. They’re very very loyal and passionate. That’s great! It’s also not that unique or special. Thinking so is just tribalist bias.
  19. okay. Based on what? Certainly not past experience, he has none as a head coach. I have no proposed solution because I don’t agree with these wailings from you and the various others here who post these threads almost daily.
  20. Nothing is particularly special. Pro teams have varying levels of fan loyalty. A lot of things go into that - demographics, age and history of the franchise, brand recognition, local entertainment options. Buffalo has a very strong fanbase. But so do a number of other franchises. There’s nothing “special” about it and mythologizing it is a completely silly and juvenile thing to do.
  21. Cool. So what’s your solution? Who’s the replacement?
  22. None of us know how they grade out players. Not sure that even needs mentioning. Beyond that though I actually agree with you - I don’t see it as a zero percent possibility either. Just very very close.
  23. so they wouldn’t pay Collins but gladly pay up for Diggs who’s 7 years older? Sure
  24. The kickoff in 13 seconds was a contributor to that loss but not the proximate cause. That was the horrible defense and defensive calls after it. A Bass make there most certainly does not “likely” get us to overtime and I can’t even understand why you would suggest that, other than it fits your flimsy narrative. Mahomes had way more than enough time to drive right back down in FG range or score a TD.
  25. It’s a standard level learned through past experience though, not just plucked out of the sky. That’s not to say there isn’t a possible coach out there that could have succeeded where McDermott didn’t the last 3-4 years, but I don’t know who that may be for certain and neither do you.
