  1. Yep. In this case though, with the top two starters being the age they are and with the respective injury histories they have, I give Hamlin a rather large edge over Marlowe, despite his lengthy history with McDermott and his impressive special teams contributions. If Poyer and Hyde were 2-3 years younger, and without the Hyde neck question and Poyer’s laundry list of recent nicks and cuts, then I think the competition would be a lot closer. But unless Damar shows evidence of some sort of hesitancy on the field or other mental block, he’s making the team.
  2. very awesome of you estro. 🫡
  3. Someone’s in love 🥰
  4. Big if true but if Florio is the source I’m skeptical. The guy is hated as much inside the league as he is by his readers.
  5. jesus. I thought you just had irrational attachments to players before. Now I know you’re just toying around in Madden and throwing s*** out there. Makes a lot more sense now honestly
  6. I always read through something twice before I reply, with respect, and I can tell what you’re doing.. it’s fine, it’s your personal opinion, but you’re not putting any high-brow takes out there outside of those “lying” “stats”
  7. so stats don’t “lie”, they just “deceive.” Which is a distinction without a difference. Because if the stats don’t align with your eye test, which has absolutely no weight, the stats must be degraded as well. is that what you’re saying? Of course it’s not, that’d be ridiculous.
  8. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/pardon-my-take/id1089022756?i=1000623133330 JA and Coach McDermott interviews. Edit : tried to find the other links (spotify, youtube) not up yet.
  9. not really a compliment since it points out the idiocy of your argument while trying to be nice… Look you can have issues with how the defense has been coached and called (which are no longer relevant with Frazier gone) all you want. The stats are just numerical representations of what happened on the field. So you saying “stats lie” and incredibly dumb s*** like that doesn’t help your cause, which seems to be sinking by the day. Stats don’t lie, because they can’t lie.
  10. if statistics are irrelevant then what is?
  11. I’m just going by that official schedule I linked and the OP asked about the local (assuming Buffalo) coverage. It could be different depending on what market you’re in. But yeah CBS and direcTV need to figure their stuff out.
  12. https://www.buffalobills.com/schedule/ channel 4.
  13. I would not really care either way but I don’t agree there’s a “good chance” he doesn’t make the team.
  14. I applaud you for explaining this at least a dozen times now to people saying the same dumb things about punt returns. ”He ran a 3.9 40.” ”He’s returned 9 punts over 2 years and 5 didn’t go well.” ”He’s FAST! And short. Definitely a punt returner put him in immediately.” ”….okay”
  15. Yeah injuries are so cool let’s have more 🙄. no class.
  16. Yeah chances are if that ever would happen (it won’t) you wouldn’t get comparable talent, you’d get lesser talent and/or draft picks.
  17. If Rodgers gets absolutely destroyed this season behind that line you know he’ll be stewing over that money he gave up while he nurses his various injuries. Idk I have never got the hype for them or the Dolphins this offseason. I still think the Bills are leagues ahead of both.
  18. Becton has looked rough pretty much forever hasn’t he? good luck Aaron.
  19. I’m comparing Diggs reaction to things going sideways in that Bengals game to what the cameras also showed us of Allen during the same game. That’s what Allen looked like to me - in space somewhere. Checked out. Other QBs have looked the same way when it just isn’t their day, as you pointed out. And that is okay. My whole point is neither bothers me. And as far as Diggs “interrupting” Josh on his tablet, well I’d figure listening to your only elite weapon in the midst of a win or go home playoff game (even if he’s only venting) is more important than checking replays. Make time for both, since we all know, so they should definitely know, that Diggs isn’t going to be quiet about it. Any conduct fans or commentators are deeming as “counterproductive” by Diggs is far outweighed by his ACTUAL PRODUCTION on the field Or don’t! Like I said if they both continue to produce - awesome. If one or both still have a hair up their a** about how it went down then one will be gone, it won’t be Allen and the team will probably be worse off for it. My whole issue in this thread and the earlier ones about Diggs and minicamp isn’t with you - it’s with the usual suspects claiming the team needs to get rid of Diggs, he’s not worth it, he’s F’ing up the culture or the “process” (whatever that is.) Picture a Bills team with the roster as currently constructed without Stefon Diggs. That’s not great. That’s not even good, at least on offense. So you learn to manage your personalities and figure it out.
  20. JW flubbed his question, for sure. He admitted it afterwards.
  21. I’m not defending Diggs so much as I am accepting it. He’s equally demonstrative when things are going well. Knowing his production over the years (which is all I really care about) I’ve learned to accept it and him for what he is. I absolutely do not care about whether or not he hurt Josh Allen’s feelings. Both men are paid enough to where if they can’t work it out, or if one or the other is hung up on this or that supposed public “slight”, then tough, I guess. i thought only the manbaby fans got hung up on that sort of **** but maybe not. That’s fine then. And if something irreparable happened (or is happening) then we all know how it will end already - one of them will be gone, and it won’t be Allen.
  22. Yes we all must have good little soldiers stone faced on the sideline in full “process” mode at all times - including one of the most talented guys on the team.
  23. Well maybe I was tuned out immediately after the season ended so I’ll need some links to some quotes he apparently made on that. And you say you “absolutely” don’t want to get rid of him while attacking his attitude and demeanor throughout this thread about his press conference wherein he said literally all the right things. So I guess I’m a little confused on that as well. The team is almost certainly going to face adversity again in some form. Hopefully not as much as late last year but still - and Diggs will probably express frustration at that adversity in some sort of public way. Are you saying that that next time is the last straw? Or next to last or whatever?
