  1. yeah my fiends and I got very, very coordinated to try to hunt all of those things down going to any and every Noco in the area. We’ve got them all. Ain’t worth s**t. And it’ll be the same deal with these stupid things - all they’re doing is adding stress to Wegmans’ employees lives.
  2. From sources outside of this board, yeah, people are for some reason getting nuts about these things. there is very little chance things like this will ever be worth anything. One-off promos can sometimes do well in the collector market, but it’s rare. Local folks - Remember 2005-2006 with the Sabres coins from Noco gas stations? What are they going for nowadays?
  3. That is a very cool way to define and describe those two terms and full disclosure I’m stealing this and going to use it in arguments with my friends Gunner 👍😀 same applies to this. Excellent post
  4. Yes but looking at outside sources (draft analyst sites, etc., who, obviously don’t know everything either) I think they sort of agree with Beane on his “1st round” grades, at least for Elam and Kincaid. Maybe not so much with Rousseau but he seems to be coming along nicely. I do think you’re right about the “last 1st rd grade left” point though. I think Beane’s just throwing an extra justification on there for having to trade up slightly for these guys.
  5. Honestly it f***** me up the first time I realized Liev was the narrator for all this stuff (and he narrates a TON of stuff) - I am very familiar with his acting work but I never watch the credits on anything. They put so much compression on his voiceover I still can’t believe it’s him. He’s top notch though, and it was cool to see him finally visit. Method Man gets a pass for any and all bad fandoms.
  6. first time I’ve read this post and unsure why you’ve received so many negative reactions because it’s a perfectly valid question but I would not sign him now - understanding that his high ankle sprain hindered him all last year I would still want to see another season of him (hopefully fully healthy) in order to figure that out. If he’s lights out awesome yeah he’ll get interest but Beane can find a way to pay and keep him. If he’s not so great, well, some other team will pay a premium and the Bills will move on.
  7. They brought out Method Man and Liev Schreiber so the 1st episode still gets a B+ from me.
  8. 💯 Which is also, by the way, no one should be up here crucifying Beane (or any other GM, for that matter) for “missing” or “choking” on draft selections. GMs and their scouts do their best but the talent gap between college ball (even in the big 5 conferences) and the pros is immense.
  9. exactly. You could build a $5billion dollar indoor palace up here and you still wouldn’t have the infrastructure or accommodations to support a Super Bowl or anything close to it. A big ol’ fancy stadium alone isn’t going to entice that type of development on its own either. That’s why I laugh at this arguments being made for the domed stadium that say: “well an open air joint is only good for one thing and that’s football 12 times a year” Guess what? An enclosed stadium here wouldn’t draw much more.
  10. Quick and dirty research says that the smallest MLB market is Milwaukee at around 1.55M in the metro area. Buffalo currently sits around 1.2M. So it’s kinda close but I tend to agree with you I don’t think MLB would currently work here, especially when it’s not a market that MLB is coming back to.
  11. Yeah college defensive coverage to facing an NFL secondary is night and day.
  12. picked it up from the ghosts of confederate soldiers that visited him when he spent a week underground.
  13. Absolutely I agree and no snark intended by me either.
  14. Yeah I agree - I think (or would hope) that they built in some kind unexpected downtime due to weather events when they were planning the construction. But maybe not.
  15. Won’t delay anything, just cost more.
  16. gotta have money to make money brah
  17. Once again: “the timeline is several weeks from when I said several weeks.” you can choose to ignore that clause all you want in this little quest to be right, but it won’t work.
  18. Or he’s just being a prick to reporters because he’s tired of the same question every day.
  19. “the timeline is several weeks from when I said several weeks.”
  20. Except that’s not the case - it was pointed out upthread that whoever posted that update here completely misinterpreted it, either intentionally or unintentionally. All Taylor said today essentially is nothing has changed.
  21. No one knows the degree or severity of the injury besides Burrow, the team and their doctors.
  22. And that whining will be never ending.
  23. My guess is he’s back by week 3, week 4 at the latest.
