I've lived around the country a bit. Add Steelers & Cowboys "fans" to that list. They watched National TV and those teams are crammed down America's throat in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Utah, Montana. Wife is Canadian, add her family being Dolphin fans, Red Wing fans, when they used to be good. We have have an advantage and a sickness being born in Buffalo area no matter where we move. We are true fans of the team we root for. If or when the Bills win the SB, it will be a world wide celebration! Go Bills! Please...just once!!

Not as touching as some posts on this thread. My dad was a big Red Sox fan, as was I even though we were from NY. He pulled for them because they got smoked by Cleveland in a DH, his 1st game in person back in the 40's when they were really good. He felt sorry for them & the rest is history. 50 years later he had never seen the Sox in Fenway. For Father's Day in 92' I drove him to Boston for the weekend for 2 games, my treat. His first and only time he ever went there. It meant a lot, surreal to see Fenway in person when you've watched it for so many years on TV only. That's it, Happy Father's Day to you all on this board. I'm only a Dog Dad 😀🐾

Funny story. My young single neighbor guy Mike in CA. He was early 30's using a dating app. I'm in late 40's married for decades, but curious. Mike how do those apps work? In my day we went to bars, parks, malls etc.. asked them out face to face with fear of rejection. He said it's pretty much the same. You reply in a post, ask them out, they see your pic and profile & reject you. You just don't get used for the drinks. Lol!! Different world.
