Ha! Cooperstown was our 1st summer vacation as a kid, Canandaigua the following. We didn't have much money for flying trips etc... However, i still have great memories from both places. Wife and I went back to Cooperstown 25 years later. I took pictures of where we ate and stayed with my family. The cheap motel was still there, just painted. The restaurant was there too, but closed. Roseland had the Skyline over the water, like ski lifts. Google the park and they show old photos. Very nostalgic!

If you are less than 10 years old, you are so excited about aging you think in fractions. I am four and half going on five. You are never thirty-six and a half! When in your teens, you jump to the next number or even a few ahead. I am gonna be 16! You could be 13, but hey, you’re gonna be 16! And the greatest day of your life…..you become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony. You become 21. Yesssss! But then you turn 30. Ooooooh! What happened here? You become 21, turn 30, then you are pushing 40. Whoaaa! Put on the brakes! Before you know it, you reach 50! But wait!! You make it to 60. You weren’t sure you would! So, you become 21. Turn 30. Push 40. Reach 50 and make it to 60. You’ve built up so much speed that you hit 70! After that it is a day-by-day thing. You get into your 80’s and every day is a complete cycle; you hit lunch; you turn 4:30; you reach bedtime! And it doesn’t end there. Into your 90’s you start going backwards. I was just 92! Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. I’m 100 and a half. May all of us make it to 100!!

Before my time, but deep down I think I've always been partial to the standing red Buffalo, because the Bills were AFL Champions in 64' & 65' with those uni's. That logo & highlights were associated with titles. IMO.

My family went to Canandaigua as a kid. Anyone here old enough to remember Roseland Amusement park there? Kind of lame, but as a kid it was great!

Years ago I was having serious health issues in that region. Couldn't find a cure, I actually went to a women's pelvic health clinic. I was the only dude in the place! When you're in enough pain looking for answers, you'd be surprised what you will try. Hope he gets better!

If any of you are familiar with Idaho, they have these plants called Tribulus terrestris, better known as Goat Heads. They are spiky little things in trails, parking lots etc ... They are so sharp they break bike tires and I believe can cause a car flat tire. If you've ever stepped on one without a shoe you'd let out a scream that would make Johnny Weismueller sound like a p****! Nasty little things! Make Legos seem like a Tic Tac
