  1. McBeane letting go of Teller, forcing Ford in and releasing Spain, and drafting inactive Basham over Creed Humphrey is the difference. Make different decisions there, and we're probably sitting here 8-0. Nothing on this team is perfect, but the offensive line is clearly the problem.
  2. If the Bills win the East, or even get into the playoffs as a Wild Card (like the Bucs did last year) but not as a top seed like everyone was expecting, I think it's going to be very interesting. If healthy, we know this team can beat any other AFC team, anywhere. In the Wild Card scenario, the Bills are going to have a chip on their shoulder; they're going to be able to say no one believes in us. It will be an "us against the world" mentality, and I'm on record as saying that might be just the mindset this group needs to make it to the Super Bowl. It might not be through conventional, home field, favored means... I suggest a perspective change for the rest of this season. This team has one huge weakness, the offensive line, that is causing our issues. They're not going to be the favorite this year anymore. Stop thinking about the 1 seed and just focus on watching a team that is fighting to get to the playoffs. Then, we'll see what happens.
  3. No. You can never have both. It makes no sense, but that's just the way it works across the league. One's up, one's down.
  4. Weird take. Tiebreakers usually don't actually end up coming into play, but people talk about them as if they're more important than actual wins and losses.
  5. How could you misspell Beane in the thread title, poll, AND thread text? Do you really think his name is Bean?
  6. Bills still have: NE IND @ NO @ TB NE All of which appear to be bad matchups for the Bills. An 8-loss season is possible.
  7. I couldn't agree more. The way McDermott handled that press conference was pathetic. No fire, no passion, just acting as if this was a reasonable result, clearly trying to downplay it. Very Jauron "It's hard to win in this league" ish. And I'm not convinced the locker room gets anything different, honestly.
  8. What few-game stretch was that last year? Titans/Chiefs was early and weird, and we went 13-3.
  9. You sure do post a lot for someone who doesn't care about the games and turns them off and does other things instead of wasting your time with the game.
  10. I can't stand how McDermott is handling this press conference. So calm, just acting like this is a reasonable result. No fire, nothing. PATHETIC. This is NOT just okay, Sean.
  11. Patriots have better lines than the Bills and will probably beat us twice and win the division.
  12. Not really. They score 16 in the last 5 minutes to make it look reasonable after trailing 30-0, and a historically bad day by Prescott will not be noticed; his stats look good now after his Prevent feast.
  13. No. Objective fans who can handle bad news about their team.
  14. The Patriots are one game back, and it looks like they'll be a bad matchup for the Bills this year. The Bills could very easily not win the AFC East. Then the question becomes, can they even make the playoffs?
  15. This performance was completely unacceptable and should have everyone reevaluating the longterm prospects of this regime. Looking for examples of other Super Bowl-winning regimes who lost a game in a spot like this...
  16. Why are the Bills suddenly so bad? What is going on? Seriously.
  17. Just like Yeldon last year, why is Breida taking up space on the active roster? Not even active for the easiest of games.
  18. Bills taking this one seriously, not experimenting with Breida, Basham, etc.
  19. Chris Simms thinks the Bills should get him, and I don't disagree. The offense needs something else. The receivers aren't as great as everyone seems to think.
  20. My neighbor Ty Johnson with the SPECTACULAR TD! REPRESENT!
  21. No, White looked great before getting hurt. Run D bad though
