Yup. Extremely rare for McD to call out a player like that. He went beyond the normal "plays he'd like to have back" language.

It's cute you think you would have won if the kicks were made. -
Daboll Monday Presser
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Odd question... anyone know why McDermott and Frazier's Monday press conferences are always posted on Bills Mobile but Daboll's never are? It's very strange. -

Rex Ryan takedown: Baker Mayfield version
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was just reacting for ratings. Nothing Rex said was unreasonable. Mr. Punchmyface was just being a token dissenter. It was annoying though because his reaction would suggest that Mayfield is amazing, when he clearly hasn't been. -
Thoughts on defending the Patriots: 1. At this time, NE does not have a running game. 2. They are going to pass. A lot. 3. Brady is going to get the ball out in milliseconds, because he figures it out pre-snap. So: Don't bring heat. Play heavy pass coverage and mix it up. Make the Patriots go all the way down the field. You can hold them under 20. Again... Don't blitz! Against Brady, it's a waste of defenders. You're not going to get there on time. Thoughts on attacking the Patriots: Don't get cute. Play straightforward ball-control football. Stay ahead of the chains, give the young quarterback manageable third downs, and hope he uncorks a couple of big plays. If you come out trying to showcase Allen throwing the ball in this game, it's going to be lost quickly. He's a great player, but he's not far enough in his development to be "unleashed" as a passer against a Belichick defense. Overall: Right now, the Bills are the healthier, more talented team overall heading into this matchup. Unfortunately, that advantage does not extend to QB and coaching. The game result will depend on how far the Bills have come in those two areas.

So Tom Brady loves playing in Buffalo!

Keeping it real... Despite a porous o-line and limited mobility, it's likely that Brady, somehow, will barely be touched. -
Maiorana's Report: Realism or Pessimism?

Uh, yeah. Five tackles per game is extremely low for an MLB -
How the Bills beat the Pats
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Patriots have big weaknesses on offense. If it were any other team, we'd be licking our chops: Bad injuries on OL. Marshall Newhouse is their starting LT! No TEs No FB No running game Possibly injured Edelman, no AB, Gordon lost a step McDermott should be capable of shutting down this offense. Is he good enough? If the Patriots have success on offense, that probably means they have better coaching than us. I'm looking for McD to step up big this week and make Brady look 42. The big question will be, Can we score? The Patriots D is legit. If the Bills can score 20 points, they should win the game -
McDermott takes it to another level again!

Who remembers this McDermott reaction in the Super Bowl? You can see the anger and anguish together. -
Edelman injury this week?

Is that Murph giving him a shot? Why can BB "take away" players and other coaches can't? What's the magical difference... -
Bengals forum not feeling good
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A point that seemingly no one is making is that Seattle has a history of starting slow. I actually picked the Bengals to win that game because of Seattle's slow starts and the fact that it was the first game of the season for a rookie head coach and Seattle wasn't sure what to expect. -

This is a must win game for the Bills.
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Posted in the score thread, but just to spread the word... Andy Dalton is 4-1 against the Bills; in fact, 5-1 if you include the beat-down in the 3rd preseason game last year. We also shouldn't dismiss the fact that that was Josh's first game with the starters and it did not go well. Even though it was preseason, don't think for a second that that doesn't give the Bengals more confidence, and it probably puts a chip on Josh's shoulder as well, which could be good or bad. -

Pats LT Isaiah Wynn to IR
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It almost doesn't matter who they put on the offensive line. Brady gets the ball out before defenders barely even make contact with the offensive linemen... it's ridiculous. I'm not sure they couldn't just hire literally anyone to block for pass plays.
