how dare you! It was common knowledge all off season the team was in fact TOO stacked at WR, despite having exactly one guy who’s ever had 1k yards and the #2 who’s never been over 700.

Right. Diggs had two seasons out of 5 that he got over 1000 yards and many thought he wasn’t even the best WR on his team in Minn. I questioned if he was truly a #1 based on his production. Jefferson took his role and is statistically better than Diggs even WITH Allen, I like Diggs, but this BS if him “making” Allen is a joke. Every single WR that’s played a full season with Allen has had a career year, yet it’s always “Allen has all the weapons”, BS. Allen is in that rare class that makes the guys around him markedly better than they are without him, Diggs included. Allen is in the class with Brady, Rodgers, Maholmes, and to my eye Burrow is there too, that make mediocre players average, average players good, good players great, and greats into Legends. Take away that QB, those guys all go down a tier. Look at Brady’s career and you see a laundry list of guys that were nothing without him, Rodgers same, the list is getting long for Allen already. The Moss, Adams, Hill types won’t fall off completely, but their lives are so much better with an elite pairing. Look at Robert Foster, Brown, Beasley etc. poof, nothing.

idk about firing him, but I’m glad somebody is finally opening their eyes. -
I think Greg Rousseau becomes an elite pass rusher in 2022

This story is getting old, the guy is a great player, I agree if you mean he’s top 10-15 player in the league, but as a QB? C’mon. He’s an average passer, but that dual threat is insane. Is he an injury away from having to recreate himself? Yep. Would I pay him? Nope. That said, he’s not average. Tua clears Concussion Protocol in 30 minutes.....
DCofNC replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed, the announcers saying his hands are a neuro response to head trauma put the NFL in a bind. They are going to protect the shield and waste Miami. -
Far from “rare” on Beane’s draft blunders in the early rounds, he makes a lot of questionable ones in all honesty. Kills it late in the draft, pretty puzzling early rounds. Example, could have draft gone, Groot, Creed Humphrey, and had a great start to rebuilding both lines, instead took Boogie, yet another rotational DE. They get entirely too much credit for “ great drafts” when he’s barely found starting talent in the second round because he fixates on need vs best player… or the evaluations are awful..

Was Jaquan Johnson really that bad in his first career start?
DCofNC replied to Wayne Arnold's topic in The Stadium Wall
The TD he gave up was at worst broken up and likely picked if the starters were in, he clearly didn’t go for the ball which was disappointing. That said in comparison to 2 of the best in the game it’s an unfair expectation. If he continues to take bad angles, is slow to react and not look for the ball, he won’t be on the field long. I give him a pass for his first game against one of the hardest receiving groups he’ll ever see. -
Here’s what’s crazy, I’ve been to over 30 games, none in the last three years though, and never realized this. I’m an idiot. I sat in both endzones, didn’t like either. I go sideline, no worse than the 30 yard line or I’m not going. I’m not dropping all that money to see WAY less than I see on TV. The environment is always awesome, but I want to see the game well too. The 300’s are actually great for a solid price and really good views, I watched a bunch from 334/335, loved it. There’s not much better than club seats imo. If/ when I go back, I’ll buy clubs.

They couldn’t risk him playing against the Bengals, they’re entirely too close to Cougars, could risk him showing off his thickness.

Myles Garrett injured in car wreck (non life threatening)
DCofNC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would t be shocked if he’s lying, but his story also is plausible, it can be hard to remember to just mow them over in the moment. -

Again, no. There are some steep banks there, swerve for whatever reason and you can head over the opposite side of the road and find yourself coming in an angle, the front of the car hits and momentum takes right over. Speed helps, but you don’t need to be doing 90 to send yourself flying. What actually happened, IDK, but for his sake I hope it wasn’t a road blowie, he might have some unreported damage. -

Not necessarily, I was in an accident, flipped 4times, walked away with a minor cut in my arm and some muscle soreness. Believe it or not, the impacts that stop you hurt FAR more than flipping, that’s not a ton of impact really, you just kind of bounce along. Landing on the roof made in a ditch made it more of an adventure to get out, but all three of us had nothing more than scrapes and bruises. -
Update: Xavier Rhodes signed by Bills

I hear it’s actually a back issue, he can go right now if needed. -
Proof PFF is useless, Boogie is even listed.

Maybe McD can bring back the good version of him. -
Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme

The Fox comparison is perfect. I’ve been saying the same thing without the direct comparison, McClappy got them out of the doldrums, but his God Awful game day decisions already cost us the game forever knows as :13. They cost the game yesterday too. He’s a pathetically conservative coach. Hopefully Beane sees it in one to get that ring before McD wastes this roster completely. -
Time for Beane to "break glass in case of emergency"?
DCofNC replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
All the areas fans were worried about came flooding in at once yesterday, so I get the panic. Diggs couldn’t stay on the field, Davis showed no explosion presumably due to his ankle, the OL got banged up and could do anything right, the secondary is down to a UDFA taking snaps at corner.. yeah it’s a hot mess. That said, you can’t have 53 starters, that’s not how it works, you also have virtually zero chance of winning every game, so regardless of what Rex Ryan says, you shouldn’t have planned on that anyway. All of the crap that happened, the Bills managed to stay in the game to the point where they should have won, but JA choked (on the goal line) and that’s excusing the missed FG earlier in the game, the missed snap before half and the eventual ***** show of a last play. Should they be concerned? Yeah, this is a lot of injuries to over come. Baltimore is playing good football, there’s absolutely a chance they drop 2 in a row if guys can’t get back in. Also, I have to question the conditioning program without the extra preseason game. It’s been obvious Diggs isn’t in shape to play this year, he’s effective when he’s out there, but he’s constantly pulling himself. The muscle injuries are generally blamed on lack of conditioning, not a great sign there either. What do you do? Nothing and hope to get and stay healthy. The only potential move would be Beckham and that’s going to be about the money working. It’s also going to be something we talk about more in ~a month when he’s close to ready to practice. -
Damn that looks awful, I hope the kid is ok. Sure didn’t look good. I’ll never root for the Pats (except when we want them to win for a playoff scenario), but you don’t want to see that happen to anyone. The way it went down, I thought the femur, right above the ankle.. I don’t know anything about anything, but I hope he just doesn’t tolerate pain well and it’s not what it looks like.
