Show me one reason to believe Oliver is a top 10 DT, he’s not the clear cut best DT on his own team FFS. My bad, Glenn was better than Dawkins and we still don’t have a top 10 LT. Milano has an argument to be in the top 10 at his position, but he’s out plenty so there’s no way you can call him irreplaceable, he has to be replaced in season all the time.
-
Replacing an All Pro is not easy, but the rest of those rankings are in you head, Oliver is not even CLOSE to top 10 at DT, Milano though good, is only thought of that highly in Buffalo, and Glenn isn’t a top 10 LT either.
-
Miller is the only one on your list that’s remotely close to irreplaceable. Oliver wasn’t missed when he was out, Milano is a good player, but not HOF. Hyde is being replaced right now, Dawkins is a decent start, not more and white hasn’t been on the field in a year and there has been virtually no drop off. This is not a team full of great players like the delusional Bills fans think. It’s a bunch of names you know, that’s it. Even Diggs is questionable when you look at Jefferson out producing him in the same system. Allen is the only guy on this team that can’t be replaced, he’s one of the very best in the game. The rest of the team is replaceable and all will be replaced in due time.

This team is built entirely on Josh Allen’s shoulders. It’s Allen and Diggs on the O, there’s not one other special player out there. I said it before the season, everybody WANTS Davis to be special, he never has been, McKenzie, same thing. We signed back less talent than we let walk away on O. If Allen falters, this team is dead. The part that sucks is he’s been so bad the last 6 quarters it feels like we have lost 2 games in a row. I know you can’t say it around Bills loyalist, but the lie about this being the most talented roster in football is being exposed. I’ll give the D a pass, even decimated but injuries they are holding teams to low point totals (though it’s ugly), but the O? You got what you should have thought you had, Allen, Diggs and a bunch of guys nobody else would pay either. McKenzie has been a real disappointment after all the camp buzz, Crowder is doing what Crowder does which has always been his issue, Davis has not stepped up, Knox has been invisible and there’s still no run game. It’s all on Allen, pray he figures it out again.

I don’t really want to see it pushed back, you have to commit to winning and look at the future as it stands. If you go back, there’s going to be more teams that throw in the towel making for even more meaningless games late in the year.

Do you see the Josh Allen era Bills as having a "window"?
DCofNC replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I do agree, Josh is one of those few greats that elevate the guys around him to heights they can’t reach without him. He’s like Brady and unfortunately Maholmes in that manner. The biggest problem for Maholmes will be Allen and vice versa. In terms of legitimate SB contenders, I think we see a big difference in this year vs last year on the D because of Miller and that’s the part I think Bills fans may be missing. To replace a guy like that is like replacing Allen on the other side. You don’t get HOF impact players every day, he was a major get for us and let’s face it, with his age, this might be his last year of big production, we simply don’t know. Hughes was a very good player and Miller brought this D to new heights. So in those terms, I think this is a window we need to cash in on. We could have a Colt, Packers, Saints type of deal where you have the QB and a good D, but you are not a dominant force. Those teams never were out of their window while they had the QB, but they didn’t get much either. -

I think it’s pretty clear we are in a window of great opportunity, you have a bunch of guys that are in or close to in their prime and you have some contracts that may be a problem in a few years. It takes a LOT luck to keep it wide open. This window is wide open, it’s going to take a lot of work and shuffling to keep it looking this good for an extended period of time. You have to replace Miller, a HOF talent and big impact player, Diggs will slow down etc, so the window can stay open, but it’s not a given you don’t turn into the Packers. -
Still have Cleveland.

Is he though? I think he’s a Frank Clark type, that’s to say, really good (when healthy), but not a guy I want to spend 20M a year on. Let somebody else do that, I’ll take the 1st round pick and the cap space to make a move (or to pay Russ Wilson 🤡)

I’d love to see the line on Bills V Eagles, it would be a cool case study to see if that many heads exploding at once in Philly could be heard in Buffalo.
-
I wonder if the Broncos would have traded the guy they should have picked at 5 for that package…
-
Don’t love the move, bc he’s on my fantasy team, he’s not going to get enough touches here, love it for the Bills.

He had 3x that last game 😂

Man, let’s just be honest, bad decision on Allen there. -

I guess I’m missing something, why not leave Elam on his own, he’s a man corner at heart, and let the safeties crash the run? They have shown no willingness to throw. -
Can’t stand Lewan and Tyreek Hill, really don’t like Maholmes, he’s great and I respect that, but he just irritates me. There’s a number of others that bother me with the off field antics/actions that I just can’t get behind. From the Bills, Cook is trying real hard to be completely unlikeable, that RBF with zero production is just real hard for me to watch.

Glazer: Bills called about kamara, turned down
DCofNC replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am still surprised with that pick, I said it when they picked him, he’s never been able to block, this team relies on backs to block. He’s never going to get on the field until he can do that, they literally might as well line up a slot WR in the backfield, that’s what they drafted.. bad pick IMO. This FO struggles to project RBs that’s for darn sure. -
Forget the washing, who’s scraping them for November/Dec games?

Sammy Watkins says Buffalo Bills are still his team
DCofNC replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s the girl who was hot in college, but couldn’t maintain it as soon as all the beer caught up. Now she crash diets and wears a ton of make up between relationships, just enough to get another sugar daddy, then as soon as she’s in, she quits trying AGAIN, because it was all about the money. Nobody needs that drama. -
I’d like to see Allen sit from ~ half way through the 3rd. Should be up 35 by then.

I hope he is what he’s been in NY, he’s a big time talent I don’t want to see on KC if he finds himself.

Most underrated off-season acquisition could be Daquan Jones

Nice to see what a real 1T looks like.
