  1. But he lead the league in pressure and sacks don’t mean that much, ya know other than the loss of distance and down, but a pressure is just as good. Did I do I right Hughes defenders?
  2. I thank them for that decision everytime I watch Herbert play, that kid is almost as athletic as JA and far more polished than Allen was at the same point. I still don’t see the killer instinct in him, but I’ll take playing Tua EVERY TIME over Herbert.
  3. He was pulling himself, hand was up after every catch.
  4. What I saw was maybe MAYBE 2 runs that were called. Allen saw opportunity and went for it a number of times. I agree with the poster above who said take away the RPO (when you are up big). The only one I was really concerned about was him hoping on one leg in the middle of the field as the other was tied up, that could have been disastrous. Thing is, he’s so dangerous when he just plays ball and you see the absolute joy in his face when he wastes guys, it’s great. He’s going to have to cut back as time goes on, but I don’t foresee him stopping until he actually does get banged up unfortunately.
  5. I’m actually fine with it, he played to win and put his team in position to succeed. The Rams were still playing to score, screw it.
  6. I was thinking about that comment last night as Allen shredded the Rams.
  7. All of this. Miller draws attention, but the guys inside were really getting after it. You have to wonder if the D is really this good or the Rams line was that bad. The Bills certainly whooped them, no doubt about that.
  8. Guess they shouldn’t have hidden their new weapon all pre-season. I just don’t see it with these RBs. Motor is the clear cut lead guy, yet Moss gets all the work. For whatever reason they decided to draft a guy who was a back up in college, to a guy who’s not as good as Moss and expected him to be a big factor. Interesting strategy all around.
  9. Run, JA is going to be hyped to the absolute 9, they don’t want him breaking somebody’s fingers on the first play.
  10. Oliver is not a must keep, he’s good, but completely replaceable, Buffalo fans over rate him so much it’s comical. Po is old enough to let walk. Davis will be interesting, if he emerges this year, he’s going to be tough to keep, but he hasn’t done anything yet, so let’s just see where it goes. They can sign Edmunds if they want.. I hope they want better, but Bernard is not in Edmunds league and I think Edmunds is mediocre. No, Bernard is undersized for LB and he’s slow for his size, he’s extremely limited physically. He was drafted at least one if not 3 rounds earlier than necessary. They fell in love with his mental game and reached.
  11. I love your optimistic view, but there’s absolutely nobody outside of Buffalo that would put Oliver or Knox in the conversation as best or most talented at their positions. That’s just not true. Knox is a good athlete and one of my favorite players, but you would have to Cherry pick the ***** out of criteria to have him top 2 at anything. The late round drafting has been pretty impressive, which makes it all the more puzzling why he can’t seem to hit on the better prospects. God knows it’s so much better than we had in the past. I do love the logic of “14 Starters” came from Beane’s drafts, it’s a nice stat. The reality is 7-8 of them are starters by default, not because they are true NFL starters, but nonetheless, at least they are on an NFL roster and decent.
  12. Like the fact he’s going to be here, feel like they could have gotten to him earlier for less, but whatever. I’ll judge more when I see the numbers. If anything, I really hope this means Edmunds will walk after the season.
  13. I think it’s fair to say Beane has continually wasted high draft picks, if we were evaluating Bellicheck for these draft picks we’d be laughing. He got Allen, awesome, and therefore a lot is covered up. But Edmunds is marginal, Ford is trash, DS is still trying to make a role for himself, Oliver is solid, hasn’t come close to top 10 status, AJE still a borderline NFL player, Moss still trying to find something, Groot was solid, actually have hope for him, Boogie.. why?, Brown looks like a good hit. This year is way to early to judge, but Elam has been equaled or out played by his 6th round competition, Cook just makes no sense as a second round pick, don’t get me started on the wasted 3rd round pick… step back and look at it objectively, Beane has really sucked on early picks outside of Allen. Let’s be fair, he got the right one, but he also didn’t have his pick of the litter and has shown a propensity to make a move to not get shut out on a position of need. If the Browns had taken Allen, then what? Anyway, his track record in the draft is worthy of question.
  14. Oook, Diggs is a great player, but he’s a product of Josh Allen, he’s never come close to the numbers he has without Allen and the guy who replaced him has been better in his first two years than Diggs is now, with Kirk Cousins throwing him the ball, so let’s just calm down.
  15. I think we may see Gilliam as the 3rd RB with Jones as a ST captain and the “ability” to step in if needed. I agree with your assessment on Moss, but I am cautiously optimistic he will be much better this year. We have not seen the guy from college yet, but I saw glimpses of it this pre-season. He was a hammer in college, and he has really underrated hands, I won’t be shocked to see him keep Cook from dressing for a while. He’s the short yardage guy, by default (and I don’t agree with it based on the past, I think DS can do just as well), he is definitely a better blocker and if he can start to show that little bit of burst/pop he had in college, he’s talented enough to start in the NFL. I’d be happy to have a problem of too many guys that are too talented to bench at a weak position from last year, but man, if we have a 2nd round pick not dressing for the 3rd straight year, I might just lose it. I hope I’m wrong about it and I hope Cook is a beast, but I don’t see the justification for his draft slot at all. Wasn’t happy with the pick at the time, still haven’t seen a reason to change that, hopefully they were “hiding” their weapon.
  16. I feel the same way, but man what an awful look to have the 2nd round pick not dressing for games for 3 consecutive years. I know Beane has worked some magic, but his drafts are almost tragic outside of Allen.
  17. I’m interested to see if Cook being the 3rd RB means he doesn’t dress for games, the way they did with Moss last year. I would find it REALLY hard to believe, but this RB by committee thing does take up and extra spot on game day. It may be that one of the bottom WRs/TEs won’t dress. As it stands based on what we saw, I would be putting Beneford out there, Elam has more raw ability, but it’s raw.
  18. When I am playing in one, if you have anxiety over a game you aren’t playing, you may need medication.
  19. For the 3rd time in three years the 2nd round pick doesn’t dress for game one 😂
  20. I think this plays a major factor in it. The best defense is one that’s not on the field. If you have sustained 7-10 minute drives, you cut the game way down for the other team. Give Josh Allen 4 possessions to throw all he wants, the best he can do is be perfect and score 32 on you. Give him 8 possessions and you’re giving room for error and many more scoring opportunities. Control the clock, control the game.
  21. Talented? Bruce, Allen, and OBVIOUSLY Edmunds, the guy isn’t even old enough to drink yet and has already had a HOF career per TBD.
  22. Sounds like a better Hawk, I’ll take it.
