It’s not just about this game. Kincaid has to be one of the most disappointing performers in the league this year. He’s had zero impact. Second in line might be Cooper who also is either 1) completely washed, 2) Brady/McD refuses to use him or 3) this scheme can’t use an outside guy. These are two guys that have had a lot of resources spent to acquire them, both had good years last year without Brady and neither looks like they have a spot in this team, something is off. I think we all kind of hoped/expected Shakir to be a focal point, but how is it, he’s the ONLY guy who appears to belong in the NFL? When Mack Hollins is really your #2, but you have Cooper, Kincaid, Samuel and your 1st pick of the draft this year all trying to find a meaningful way to contribute, it’s a real question. Obviously, they are running more and the backs are eating some of the catches as well, but it’s still odd to have this collection of talent and not being able to get anything going outside or down field.

I see you are getting a lot of hate for this and I think objectively you are right. The PI set up a score on a drive that they probably weren’t going to score on and the holding killed a drive where it seemed like they were going to score, but there’s certainly no guarantee of that. That PI was huge and absolute BS, really felt like a makeup call. Saw that, hated that he quit on the play to try to draw the flag. It was a hold, should have been called, but ya have to keep fighting there, don’t rely on the zebras to do the right thing, you don’t play for KC, you aren’t going to get the calls.

What I wouldn’t give to see it be Buffalo and Washington in the SB. What a story it would be.. and the Bills better freaking win 😂 I was happy he dropped it.. but then thought, “maybe we’re better off letting Josh go finish this..” I will say, to shut the media up, it would have been better if Josh just took the ball, marched down the field and finished the game himself. On the other hand, the win is ALL that matters so the haters can hate all they want.

I hate to admit it, but you are spot on. He should be on the Bench and Cooper should be taking the snaps. I like the kid, but he’s not getting it done right now.

I don’t think this is entirely on Brady, there were at least a handful of plays where Josh looked down field and came back to the check down. The result was short gain, BUT not forcing the ball resulted in no turnovers and enough points to win.

End of the day, they won. No turnovers to 3 is huge. I HATED the way they went limp in the second half, that was beyond awful. That said, they did what they had to do. They also got the ball back with 1:32 left and timeouts, they could just as easily marched down and set up a winning FG as time expired and Jackson could have lost that way.

Thats not what he’s saying at all, he’s saying he’s not an idiot. Dan Campbell went home being one last year, you don’t go for the kill unless it’s a virtual guarantee. You go up 8 and make it so the WORST possible outcome is overtime. This was proper risk management. As it stood, even if Baltimore did tie it, they would have done so with 1:32 on the clock and making the Bills go maybe 40 yards in that time with 3 time outs to get a FG attempt to win before overtime. Everyone keeps acting like the game was lost if Andrews catches the ball, it most certainly wasn’t, the ball was back to Allen to go win it. I have issue with how predictable the offense got in the second half and especially that 3rd and goal. If they were going to do what everyone knew was coming, it should have been the rush push AND they should have challenged the play, claiming it was a TD and make them review the spot, which would have put it at the 1. Better yet the idiots in NY should have called in the proper spot and they should have had it at the 1 and gone tush push, end the game.

If they don’t get it, that TD beats them. The D was praying for a turnover all day, otherwise Baltimore didn’t punt the whole day. They had to take the points after failing to get the TD on 3rd.

Or he can’t get open… he had 24 catches in Cleveland and only 20 here, he’s not an impact player anymore. I don’t know why it’s hard for people to see/admit. I’ll admit, I wanted D-hop instead and he’s been nothing special either. Diggs fell off a cliff at 30, yet nobody wants to believe that could be it w Cooper. He’s been here over half a season and his competition for snaps is Mack Hollins and a raw rookie, neither of which are doing anything to stop a real WR from taking their job.. he’s just not doing it.

He also wasn’t doing anything in Cleveland and Jeudy went OFF this year after they got rid of Cooper. I think they made an effort to get a guy and he might be contributing to the meeting room a lot, but in the field, he’s not what he was.

Oh wow.. a single play.. where he catches a jump ball, I take everything back.

My only complaint is they appeared to let off on all the pressure in the 2nd half, need to stay with it, keep QBs out of rhythm and keep running up the score, don’t let it be as close as this was

Yep, we are into classic “complimentary football mode”, which just leads to complimenting the winning team on a great effort, obviously we’re disappointed to end our season. Better let Josh play ASAP.
