  1. Aside from Diggs, they have nobody. Also, Dorsey seemed to go to the, run, run, throw deep strategy.
  2. And if the Bills had drafted “right Josh” McClappy would be back to a D coordinator or similar, somewhere else.
  3. Josh was fine today, if this game pointed anything out, it’s a resounding lack of talent at WR, the drops on all the deep shots were unreal.
  4. I’m not so sure, the kid is playing lights out, albeit with a real good team around him. He appears better than Jimmy G in the same system. To me, Jimmy is captain of the game manager team. Purdy actually looks like he can make some plays. For a guy in his 6th start in the NFL, as a rookie, in the playoffs, it’s pretty impressive what he is doing/has done. I’m not ready to label him anything other than an absolute steal in the draft.
  5. Right on. It’s not MVP, Allen deserves that award by definition. Hurts ultimately was more efficient than Josh this year. Allen had to shoulder the load more than Hurts, which may be why he made some big mistakes, I don’t know.
  6. His agent really should have told him, you don’t gamble 200+ million, trying to win another 20. The guy is a fool.
  7. I fully expect him to be AT the SB this year. Can’t really see them getting there.
  8. The Bills went for hope as a strategy on the WR core this year, it didn’t work. Gabe didn’t cut it, Beasley couldn’t be replaced with Glass and Gadget, but they were cheaper. My fear is Buffalo wants to run the Carolina model of get an MVP QB, and that’s the O, spend 65% of the cap on D.
  9. It’s really not. It’s still Diggs and a group of guys. If Allen makes it work it’s more of a testimonial to his greatness than anything.
  10. 100% this. He seems like a fun guy, but he is not reliable on the field. He’s got talent, but skill is highly questionable.
  11. I think you will see the Bills stack the box, take away the short to intermediate routes and dare them to let him throw it over their heads. Miami is hoping we play the stupid soft zone and let Waddle, Hill, Gesecki all have uncontested 6 yard catches. If we do, they will eventually break a couple tackles and take it to the house on a slant. Leslie needs to make them beat us, not just let the rookie have a bunch of easy completions to the most dangerous group of skill position players in the league.
  12. I don’t disagree, but I could see them selling the farm(future) for him. There’s more than 1st round picks available, so maybe it becomes some of the young defensive pieces etc along with future first rounders.
  13. Nobody has wanted Brown since he left Buffalo, why sign him? Also, signing Beasley could be a bit of an olive branch for acting like he was wrong in his stance. Right or wrong the organization didn’t exactly back him, they had others who were doing the same but being quiet. I’m just speculating, but it would seem like a bit of a “thanks for coming back” type of thing.
  14. The Phins should go all in for Lamar, send Tua and whatever else Baltimore wants, they become instant SB favorites. That would be a scary team with all that speed, I sure hope they don’t do it 😂. Lamar to the Jets is much less troubling.
  15. I’m hoping for Baltimore to bring their A++ defense this week and catch some breaks, like a kick off return, pick 6, a couple of big runs for TDs etc. I DO NOT want to see Cinci, they are too explosive. Hyde gives me hope, but that’s just a dream at the moment. All in all, just hoping karma comes back and bites them for trying to injure Allen to win. I don’t want anybody hurt, just lose lol.
  16. GD it, I want to go, but that’s a horrible time for me. May have to do some flight magic if it works out to be there. I actually wish it had been LV, I have to be there the next day, what’s one day early?
  17. Do you get a key to Springfield for being such a Homer or is it just a theoretical type of honor?
  18. Oliver doesn’t need a deal, in fact, I’d try to trade him. He’s an average player on a bloated 5th year deal. Po is a big time contributor, just can’t sign him long term due to injury concerns. Edmunds is going to get paid FAR more than he’s worth. Motor is easily replaced in terms of performance, would like him back at a reasonable rate. WR needs to be a round 1 pick, the cost of the position is through the roof and you NEED an upgrade badly. Saffold can pound sand, Morse may well retire and I guess you are hoping Brown doesn’t suck bad enough to sink the ship next year, so OL better be a big focus… makes me really wish they had taken the flier on Toney. He’s going to get more than that, might as well if you want him back.
  19. Comparing him to a guy that barely has a roster spot is a terrible comparison.
  20. Well, certainly no excuses for the Bills, better take care of business and bury the fish early.
  21. Ben struggled with a lot of OCs, and the system has never changed under Bellicheck, he’s got his grubby paws all over that offensive scheme. Rodgers has definitely had struggles with some OCs as well. The key is not having to start over every 2 years because your QB makes OCs look great. Obviously, you love McD, whatever, but he’s never going to be what makes this team great, that’s JA and to keep improving, you want to refine your game, not have to learn a new system every other year.
  22. Bet what? You think he’s not going to get similar money to Smith? Look, the Bills have absolutely pathetic LB depth. Edmunds had darn well better be missed, if he wasn’t you really have an issue. Don’t forget the guy raked like 13M this year, so he’s not some low cost, high performer. If anything, he’s a high cost, average starter. If the Pats were good at anything, it was letting the paper tigers go get paid elsewhere and come crawling back after they got cut. Beane let that happen a couple times already, I’m not going to be shocked if he does it again. That said, Tremaine was his pick and he seems pretty bent on proving his guys are the right guys.
  23. Wow, if we can get by the Fish this week and Hyde is back, my whole outlook changes. I had already set my mind to the fact it’s been a crazy year and the injuries just weren’t going to let us have enough to stop real offenses, Allen would have to be Superman or it was over. If Hyde is back, even a little rusty, he’s still 2x the player if anybody we had back there, that’s HUGE. Crowder, probably not going to be a big impact, WR needs some chemistry with the QB to be much and that seems unlikely. However, if he can move McKittrick to inactive, the addition by subtraction might be enough.
  24. He’s going to get paid, he’s not going to take some super cheap deal to make you feel better, it’s his career. He’s going to get very close to, if not more money than Smith. Everybody drools over his size/speed and forgets he’s not a super impactful player for all those attributes. He’s been much better this year, but he’s not a super star like people pretend. Keuchly is what they want, and when he was on the field, you knew it. The problem is Edmunds is good, but you have to pay him like he’s great, those are the guys you let go.
