  1. I wouldn’t expect eye popping numbers from Kindcaid. My real hope is he makes the passing game better in December when the 50 yard pass is tougher and everyone knows it. Relying on one WR, who they had running deeper routes, when the OL was failing, in garbage conditions, required perfection. My hope is the game plan can shift a bit and we can get those 5-10 yard passes that just move the ball. Coupled with a little help blocking in the run game and let’s not forget they could also use Knox in a similar fashion. It might make life easier when it matters. That said, if he gets more than 40 catches this year, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
  2. To the original question, I believe Kelce will be able to play another 5 years and at least 2 of them as the best in the game, barring major injury. He’s been amazingly healthy and his brother is looking like he will play a more physical position until he’s 50.
  3. I just don’t get the hype over picks past round 3, maybe 4 for this team. There is almost 0 chance they make the roster, so it’s all pretty much “Meh”, if they stick cool, if not, can’t say I’m surprised. This roster is pretty good, top to bottom. I would love to see a few positions have more talent at the top end, but to expect a late round pick to unseat almost anybody on this roster is getting your hopes up for a lot of nothing.
  4. The only thing that really matters is if Kincaid works out, if not, it still sucks. Knowing how hyped up that Cowboys draft room usually is when they make a pick, something definitely didn’t go the way they wanted.
  5. Seeing how deflated that Cowboy draft room looked during the process of the first round pick, it certainly appeared they lost out on their guy and had to settle. Honestly, it was glorious.
  6. The giant red flags for him are 1) lack of experience. 2) Lower level competition 3) inconsistent performances. I think he’s a bit of a project, the opposite of Knox who had barely my receptions, this guy is basically a large slot WR who will need to learn to block.
  7. I do NOT understand that pick, especially with the fact they spent pretty large on a RB in FA. In the old days, I’d just say it’s the Lions being the Lions.. at this point, it’s just WTF?! Wow that was a pretty good draft and the ratings were really solid. I give the QB assessments a bit of a pass as they are easily the most likely to struggle to translate.
  8. Need some beef in the middle, but we shall see.
  9. Solid “Meh”, hopefully the raw physical skills can translate w McDermott coaching him up.
  10. Not exactly a ringing endorsement haha. Who knows, sometimes athletes “get it” later on/ or a good coach brings it out. I don’t have much hope of him making the roster this year at least. 4 of the WR positions are pretty much set in stone and it’s arguable that’s 5.. tough team to make from late in the draft, even if some of us are less than thrilled with the talent level.
  11. Nice size, guess we’ll see what he’s got in camp. Going to be tough to crack the roster this year.
  12. McClappy threw Edmunds out there as a rookie, I don’t think it’s out of question he would if Williams shows he can make the calls/plays. I would assume Milano will be the play called this year, but we’ll see.
  13. Hey it worked out well at RB, all you have to do is wait another year after this one and draft one in the second round and still not play the guy and hope it works out the season after that.
  14. Quick, without googling, who is the KC MLB?
  15. Only difference is he was starting for Michigan for years.
  16. There we go! Hopefully, we see some holes to run through now.
  17. I’m surprised he was the pick, but he looks like the best weapon left by a long shot. If he turns into a top 5 TE, nobody will care. If he busts, then that’s a double whammy.
  18. I’m actually pretty excited about this pick. He’s got awesome long term potential, but should be an absolute nightmare to cover if used as basically a big slot guy. Major concerns are his lack of experience and the fact he needed injuries to break the Utah line up. Those are some big red flags to me. That said, the guy has all the tools and a nice set of hands. Worst case, he should be a 40-60 catch guy, best case he develops to a Kelce type that’s just impossible to deal with. The fact Knox is also a well above average all around TE, if schemed up properly, this could be real good.
  19. Math is hard, as is the time value of money concept apparently. Congrats on your new contract Lamar, idiot.
  20. Big winners? Burrow and Herbert. He who signs first loses the quickest lol.
  21. Bet it’s not going to make up the money he lost by not being under contract for the last 2 years like Allen.
  22. Oh please, cherry picking a trivial number to claim he’s been great.
  23. You are joking, right? Pittman has far out produced Davis and he’s done it with half the QB throwing him the ball.
  24. It will look fine in the pictures w JA holding the Lombardi.
